It's here:

Contest to design a trial mech.
Its a trial mech now. If you look at it's model designation it ends with ( C ) similar to the ( F ) of the founders mechs.

Please see Garth's post in said thread: "Wolf87535, I think you will be happy in a patch or two.
Conclusion: One of those Ravens, probably the 4X, will be the Champion.

Let's pretend that little Timmy is a MWO player. His average XP per match is about 1500. He buys a champion mech and maintains his average XP per match. 1500 x 1.05 = 1575. He gets a whopping +75 XP per match in this case.
GXP is 5% of your XP earnings. 1500 XP = 75 GXP. 1575 XP = 78.5 GXP. That's +2.5 GXP per match. Yippie-ki-yay. If little Timmy is grinding to unlock a 15,000 GXP module, his unmodified average earning rate would make him need to play 200 matches to get the GXP he needs. With a champion mech, he would need to play 191.0828025 matches. He gets to earn it a whole 9 matches faster. Meh.

Holy ****, I wish my average XP per match was 1,500. Where the hell are you getting that number from? That's crazy high.

means the raven quirks are coming. probably a significant 3L nerf.
they havent really targetted the ECM/sSRM interaction issue. but people will be happy with it i guess.

It's just a random number I pulled from my rear center torso. In real-time action, it'll usually be a lot lower and therefore the champion bonus will suck even harder. It was an overly-optimistic example.
I'll use my own sucky numbers for greater realism:
603.94 average XP = 496.7380866 matches to get 15,000 GXP
634.137 champion XP = 473.083892 matches to get 15,000 GXP
So I get to earn the goal GXP 23.6541946 matches faster with a champion mech. Not as bad as 1500 average XP getting it 9 matches faster but still terrible. The only people who will benefit from this will be playing this game in the steering wheel underhive.

Double XP Weekends making it a 10% boost, or combining it with premium time; one thing I learned from Diablo II is percentage based boosts get big quick.
