Ive noticed in my pilot lab I have an extra dragon, the custom one which seems to have its own skill tree... But by the same token my founders hunchie still has its own skill tree unlike the other founders mechs... So who knows.

The "extra" Dragon shares the same XP as the one it is based from.

If it's a lower priced well-equipped Assault, I may buy one just because I need a well-equipped Assault for my hangar, and it may as well be one the community designed to be effective.

With the way things are going, its going to be "pay to catch up with all the people who have been playing since the last beta reset". Not quite P2W, but not so great for the latecomers .

seems just like another cash grab to me. It's sad when it going to come down to the fact that all the good chasis are going to cost money. I find this a disappointing reality.

agree... a 50% GXP bonus would be another story though, would make for a good "module grinder"... but 5% XP? aprils fools day is long gone

ahm... you get gxp from the total ammount of xp earned... so instead of 1000xp, you get 1050xp...and from that you get yoursmall share of gxp... so the gxp win is what?

I thought the new trial dragon was it? Because of the whole ( C ) after its designation
edit: had to put spaces before and after the C because the forum software changes it to a copyright symbol otherwise

By this time most people have mastered these mechs and are only getting general exp from playing them, and 5% or 5% isn't enough to justify paying MC for a new mech. Unless it has some other benifit to add to your play.

This Champion concept should be a module you can purchase for MC and apply to whichever mech you want. Much cleaner, suits everyone equally, and doesn't start filling the Pilot Lab and other places in the game with non-variant "variants" like the Dragon custom trial mech does currently. It's not technically a variant, it's simply a 5% XP bonus placed on it. Perfect for a module.
