Well, already bought the Woodlands Camo for my Atlas, and the Davion Hologram, as both a loyal son of the Federated Suns and in honour of Victor's birthday! ;)

Looking at all those Cyan colours, I figure I'll have to buy a couple. ;)

I'm gonna buy at least 3 Marik holo + Woodland for my Atlai + a couple of Cyan color.

Cause I'm RICH.

So that's cool.

Lol, what kind of keyboard do you use ;) "i" is pretty far from "s" on qwerty.

Anyway,
nothing stelar, I did buy the one use woodland patern on my Atlas.

I keep having to tell people this too... It's supposed to look like that.

I would like to add that I think it looks freakin' awesome. Great interpretation of the mech.

The 300XL engine is, IMO, the best engine in the game. I've literally used it in every single weight class. Jenner, Cicada, (Catapult?), Awesome. It's better in some than others, but man, it's a crazy good engine eh?

I'm not a huge fan of the Atlai but I neeeded to level up my Founders D and had to buy 2 more variants. DDC was an obvious choice and the reason I picked the K was for its parts specifically the 300XL. I use it some in all weight classes but it powers about 70% of my heavies. Awesome diverse engine. I need about 6 more of them and I'm waiting to see if they go MC available. ;)

I wonder what the engines sold stats are?

Atlai

Why are people saying Atlai instead of Atlas ? At 1st I thought it was a mistake (a pretty odd one but whatever) but I see people use it way too much. Is it some kind of slang ? Some kind of codename or something ? Because I really don't get it.

What?? It got delayed again? ;)

p.s., the XL320 works great in Cataphrats. I run it in all three of mine, iirc.

I went ahead and got the K. It'll save me the grind of saving up the cbills for it, and to get an Atlas to get the woodland camo for. I think I won't get any true value out of it until LRMs are popular again. Then sport an Atlas K and Atlas DDC lance with two escorts. People will be grateful for the K's twin AMS.

Did enjoy my new colors as I've been wanting to get some bright blues.
Wish this sale came out before I got the woodland for my Awesomes.
Now, I say this.

exactly. Every dictionary I have looked into in this past half hour says "atlases" as the most common plural of the word atlas. There is no book where it says "atlai", not even as a possibility

Cyan is a losers "Lyran" set of colors, unlike the uncompromising Red and Black of the Combine, Blues speak of a softer sort of nation, one that is composed of merchants not warriors, that wins through trickery and dishonorable deeds rather than through the honest and simple rules of bushido,

"Never stray from the Way.” Preparing for your old age by gathering wealth while abandoning your honor...How can one live this way. Blue is the color of greed and fear of death. A compromising color, pretty in the sky or in the water, but not the color of a warrior.

However, the ASZ-K is a great mech, made by skilled engineers for the purpose of destroying our enemies, I will ask my commander if I can be so honored as to purchase this machine in order to end their miserable lives more quickly.

It's not just not good on the Atlas that houses it.. especially when most people aim for the RT. It's not really the stock build's fault, but it has the most negative impact for that mech in particularly due in part of the stock build (translation: REALLY BAD STOCK MECH).

The AS7-K is bad. If you don't already have a 300XL engine, it would definitely not be a wasted purchase. Though for anyone that does buy it, take out that XL engine right away, keep it, and put a standard engine in your Atlas-K.

It's hardpoints are more limited than other variants, but you can still build an effective mech out of it. Don't let anyone tell you it's bad just because it doesn't have as many hardpoints.

When they ever add a very useful missile option, the Atlas-K might get more love... the current options are just bad enough to make it not so great.

It has a K in it, meaning I need it due to my faith in the Combine's superiority.

(Yeah I know it's not a great mech, but I don't buy mechs for their capability, I buy them for fun...I use my Spider 5V more than most of my other mechs.) Using a stock AS7-K appeals to me for some reason. Plus, believe it or not, I've never fired a Gauss rifle in this game...

See, the thing is, I swore the Atlas-K was on sale like months ago, after being on the trial mech rotation (they seem to love trial by fire sales approximately 2 weeks or so after a new trial mech rotation is out).

You see, we have fun in different ways. I'm not a great player but I still enjoy using less than optimised mechs. I'm not going to go on a rant about cheese or what have you, everyone can have fun in their own way..

I can't say I do it for the challenge, because I'm rarely the top player on my team (though usually not the worst)

I just like mechs that are a little different to play.
