I figure like World of Tanks many people will find themselves to be better at one role compared to another. I think I'd like to play scout and work on helping others get missile locks and generally providing good intel on the battlefield.

Knifefighter. I like getting in close and dirty.

I have always liked medums in the Battletech/MechWarrior universe. As a result, I will probably move towards an offensive scout or knifefighter. Who knows, there are a ton of favorite mechs out there that are long range too... so... never know.

I am best at direct and indirect fire support, that is why I tend towards heavies.

I think I would mostly play Medium sized Mechs... but I can't say for sure yet. I won't really know until i actually get my hands on some game time.

Eventually, i think light/medium in a support role will be my thing. Undecided on the type of Mech, as i am fairly new outside of TT.

Scout and when the battle becomes chaotic i will be the one who hang out on the outskirts of the battle plinking away at maximum range with an AC2 or ambushing assaults with my Commando in urban enviroments and fading away.

idk i tend to like the in you face style but i also like killing stuff that scout finds from a discrete location, so will prolly jump between lights and assualts, just have to wait and see how the game pans out

I would prefer a Raven if possible and focus on scouting. All let others goe toe to toe, but before they do all be doing my best recon on our enemy and then if needed all join in the battle.

Cheers!!!

Medium range heavy support.

While I'm not adverse to taking hits, I'd rather someone else took them while I bring the close/mid range firepower to bear.

I'm leaning toward heavy class and medium to long fire support

Bullet blocker. I'll be assaulting it up on my main mech, with as much armour as I can find strapped to it. Then some guns, some ammo, some CASE, and if I can find the space while making sure I can still dish out the pain despite my heavy weapons load, then some speed. I'll be the one getting right up in your face through open terrain forcing you to deal with me while my team moves in around me and does the real damage.

Long Range fire support. Probably going to go with a Catapult for my founder's mech.

Direct fire weapons at medium and medium-long ranges. Probably a couple of scout tree skills/modules and the rest attack/defend tree.

I would pick scout or long range fire support, or a combo of the 2 if i can, such as a sniper scout.

That role will see a lot of work.
