I hadn't heard of Hawken before this. Thank you for making me aware of this completely different game. I shall go play it now (now being when it's released).

Ok all profy guys here who knows all about game development to **** for 1 sec ?
Yes first hawken announce is before MWO, but before MW ONLINE.
Mw is classic simulation game with a lot series.
When any of you guys try to develope, understand the main engine, 3d models, and algorithm can see what a crapy copy is this "Hawken".
Yes for normal player is not, is TOOO different but for me no.
And please don`t tell me TROLL or something.
I`m just confused how young studio like this studio who make hawken can try to steal from piranha.

You do realize that mechs in general are not original concepts belonging to BattleTech - right? It's like saying that J.R.R. Tolkien invented elves and dragons and the like for his stories. Hint: He didn't, and nor did BattleTech with mechs.

Are... are you posting while on LSD? If so, you may wish to wait until you come down, you should make more sense then.

Really, MechWarrior is old. No, really! It's bound to have had influence on quite a number of games (if you can't find similarities between MW2: Mercs and the Armored Core series, you ain't tryin' hard enough) though it appears that Hawken's biggest influence is more like Phantom Crash/SLAI, than MechWarrior who's combat is (disregarding MW2: Mercs) comparatively quite plodding and not nearly as heavily oriented towards Z-axis play.
