BLR-1G(P) - Light Show
BLR-3M - LightShow II
BLR-3S - Show Girl
HGN-733 - The Beast
ON1-V - Koh (named for the evil spirit "Koh the Face-Stealer" from The Last Airbender series, because this thing owned faces)
CPLT-C1 - Rakshasa (because it's so similar to the Rakshasa)
SHD-2D - Shadowlander (trial Highlander guns shoehorned into a Shadowhawk)
CN9-AL - The Shark (back in 8 vs 8 this sucker was good for circling slow assaults and ripping them apart)
CN9-A(C) - Soul of Cent (because when I got the free Champion I stripped my old A and sold it, rebuilt the Champ with its load out, but still felt kind bad about it)
FS9-K - SpoilSport (I tended to get kills with this mech, but not wins)
KFX-D - Poison Arrow (black and orange polygon cammo makes it look like a Poison Arrow Frog, and, well, LRMs)

They are in order when i bought them (KTO-18 : first mech ever!)
KTO-18 : Starman (David Bowie)
JR7-F : Jonhy Blade (Black Sabbath)
LCT-1V(P) : Sweet Leaf (Black Sabbath)
SHD-2H(P) : Bird of Prey (Fatboy Slim)
KTO-GB : Queen Bee (Grand Funk Railroad, from the movie HEAVY METAL!)
CN9-YLW : Unforgiven (song : The Unforgiven - Metallica)
HGN-HM : Iron Man (Black Sabbath)
CDA-X5 : Aluminium (The White Stripes)
COM-TDK : Blue Orchid (The White Stripes)
COM-2D : Baby Snake (song : Baby snakes - Frank Zappa)
ON1-P : Supernaut (Black Sabbath)
CTF-IM : Revolver (Rage against the Machine)
VTR-DS : Stormbringer (Jethro Tull)
CN9-A(C) : Salamandar (Jethro Tull)
FS9-S : Sgt Baker (song : Sergeant Baker - Primus)
HBK-GI : Heartbreaker (Led Zeppelin)
TDR-9S : Snowblind (Black Sabbath)
FS9-E : Sweet Amber (Metallica)
TBR-Prime : Cat Claw (The Kills)
ADR-Prime : Stratosfear (Tangerine Dream)
SMN-Prime : Mind Eraser (Them Crooked Vulture)
NVA-Prime : Quizz Kid (Jethro Tull)
KFX-Prime : Foxy Lady (Jimi Hendrix)
AWS-PB : Velvet Green (Jethro Tull)
SDR-5D : Bk Widow (song : The Black Widow - Alice Cooper)
MDD-Prime : Red Rain (The White Stripes)
I use song name on my mech, i think it's less boring that "Dakkajagger" or "Pew Pew mech" or just the name of the loadout =)
I put some colors/pattern in line of the name too : example my COM-2D has the cobra patter and is named "Baby Snake". My MDD-Prime is paint all in red because of the name "Red Rain", etc...
I have some chassis that i'm still searching names/song and colors, like the Warhawk or Direwolf.
If you have never listen some songs, give it a try, it's only some good stuff =P
See you on battlefield, mechwarriors!
