My Raven 3L is "Poe" and my Huginn is "Nevermore" I guess I should name the 2x "Lenore"

I like the Conqueror Worm but the Raven is probably his best poem objectively. And his short stories are great. I like the Tell Tale Heart and Fall of the House of Usher. . . . oh yeah, this is suppose to be about Mech names. . . oops

The new Jenner, a K model, named after the crap I went through to get the first one basic'd is affectionately known as Sh1tmagnet.

If I had the power of Hindsight, my little Commando 1B would be named Lucky, because every time I take it out for a spin my team goes full window licker mode.

I usually name my 'mechs something that reminds me of their build. Mind you, most of my builds aren't all that serious.
UM-R60L: "Disco Fever" First 'mech I used that relied primarily on lasers.
UM-R60: "Minion Dave" Lots of machine guns. Seen "Despicable Me"? Remember the minions?
UM-R63: "Death Roomba" STD60 and AC/20. Goes like a roomba, punches a lot harder.
UM-R63S: "Munchies" With a mouth like that, who wouldn't? Nibbles at enemies with an AC/10 and some lasers.
EBJ-Prime: "Rachel" Named after a girl in my school who was beautiful from far away, less pleasant up close. With dual gauss rifles, this one works the same way.
KGC-000B: "Quadricon" Made up name that sounded cool and reminds me that this one has the quad UAC/5s.
CPLT-J: "Lights Out" 'cause lasers. All the lasers.
CPLT-A1C: "Javelin" Hits things from far away, with arc.
CPLT-C4: "Fat Liz" Punches like a freight train with dual LRM20s, medium pulse laser for backup. XL170 engine means she's got some trouble hauling that ass across the battlefield, though. Also dislikes heat.

My other KGCs are named Morzeldor and Kothurek, for no particular reason, and I have a lovely bunch of Locusts named Marcia, Marietta, Azelia, and Innogen. Jordan and Lucy are the other EBJs.

one of my crabs is mr pinchy
anther crab is trogdor its bright orange and has a couple flamers its entertaining
atlas as7-d is hellokitty... its pink and white.. and stands out well (its just the stock camo pattern so its a white line i dont really like the franken one and sadly its the only one with the face skull on the atlas)
cataphract 4x is frankenstein.. because the cataphract is a frankenmech

LCT-1E "Bumblebee" - Striped yellow and black dazzle paintjob. Sting all the direwhales from the back!
LCT-1V "Needler" - Has only a single ERLL. Go figure.
RVN-4X "Kneecapper" - Dual LPL. Shoots at everyone's legs to cripple them.
RVN-2X "Nevermore"
RVN-3L "Nocturnal" - Black paintjob + ECM + confused enemy = ???? + PROFIT!

Generally, I've themed this account around StarCraft Firebats.

So it should go without saying, I will only use Flamers on all my 'Mechs.

GHR-5P "Firebat-H"
Has 8 Flamers,and enough cooling on it to chainfire indefinately. Stunlocking never felt so good.

My current favorites are my BJ-1X "Hank" and BJ-1DC "Longmire."

I gave all my mechs japanese name becuase you know what the japanese are like with thier mechs and it just seemed to suit my mechs:

Firestarter - Sokusha (meaning rapid fire)
Vindicator - Totsugeki (meaning assualt)
Shadow Hawk - Kagemusha (meaning shadow warrior)
Thunderbolt - Ikazuchi (meaning thunder) <-- my personal favourite
King Crab - Tarabagani (literally meaning king crab)

I've still yet to come up with ones for my maulers.

p.s. I got all of these from google translate so some might be slightly wrong

I try to make up names that for every mech so it fits the current build of it. They change a lot, but currently I have two King Crabs I really like: the UAC5x4 build in all titanium white called 'The White Death' and an all basic red one called 'Dr Zoidberg'.

Gotta buy me the regular Crabs doe, specifically the CRB-20 with max XL engine in bright pink. Then I'l run around going: "Wuuub wubu wub wub wub wub wub wub!"

[Barsken]

JR7-IIC-A "Major Emu"--named after the famed commanding officer of the Dromaius forces in the legendary Emu War.
ON1-IIC-B "SPARTAN-0"--a reference to the Orion Project in the Halo Universe, since the acronym of the Orion is looks like ONI.

With all temporary mechs, I've decided to also name them "For Sale"

I also have an Urbie named "Heinz", baked beans, and a Griffin named "Optimus" after some random commented on its paint scheme looking like the transformer.

I named my Timber Wolf - S 'Peek-Ka-Boom' since I mounted all my weapons up top.

I'm trying to find a name for my Jenner II-C, I will load it out with 4x SRM6. Any ideas?


EDIT: Maybe 'Jenneral SRM' or 'Jenneral [insert a three letter word/name since no longer will fit]'
