being its a 30th century war machine, you would think that it has 360 view(cameras) and collision sensors to warn you your about to run into another mech!. or a light and a elemental is trying to do the tighten up with your leg.

and can fly, fires super-nuke mini missles, has more automated aiming and controlling systems than a 2013 tank, so the pilot only has to overwatch the board computers blablabla

it´s mech warrior, get over it

Yeah but that would be too easy for us.

Also, Atlases are shy, they don't like people looking at them. That's why they are are always sneaking behind your back.

it has a massive blind spot right below the cockpit . you canno see any light that is standing close to you .

EVERY mech should have the ability to see its own feet for gawds sake .

Pilot a Dragon and then complain about this...Just sayin.

Fatal flaw is the music isn't loud enough, I'm not buying one unless I can blare music across half the map.

i thought the massive flaw was that Sam didnt just install an F'n Z.P.M. then load the F'er up with beams

How does a top heavy assault mech lean over far enough to look at it's own feet with out falling over?

It is not fatal really because the highlander actually excells in this department since it's weapons use the small circle crosshair which is more accurate, faster, and can be pointed below you, in comparison to the regular torso crosshair. That beind said, all mechs need to be able to see more vertically, especially the highlander since it needs to see what it is crushing below it's boots.

First I think the field of view should be better in all Mechs. As for Highlander Heavy Metal it is supposed to be a DFA Mech, and being able to see down would seem to be an attribute this mech should have. It should also have strenghtend legs as it was modified to absorb damage from doing DFA so it definately should not get Armor damage from normal jumps like most mechs do.

Same way all Mechs run around without falling over, Gyro's and stabilizers.

There is a huge blindspot from the dashboard that the HUD readout seems unable to compensate for. So long as I never get headshot in the HGN I suppose it's a fair trade.

The jump damage is way overdone in MWO. In the real world (if I may use the term) they just wouldn't put jumpjets on Mechs if they took that much fall damage.

funny thing is you can kill yourself by jumping into a mech thats stuck on the map, but you cant damage the enemy by jumping on them :P

It's lack of Rick also makes it distasteful. It's never going to give us up...
