This thread needs to be in the new player area, or in general discussion/announcements. Not relegated to obscurity. Oh wait, nevermind, PGI only caters to lone wolves these days... they've already got old guy (founders) money, so they can ignore us and move on to the fresh meat.

Good idea. I also believe it should be in the new players section.

You can add if you want my MC multi-currency cost calculator I have online.

So, I've spoken to some that voted no or don't care. I Won't name who I spoke to but the complaint was that it was thought that there were too many pinned threads already. I hope they don't mind but I post below my response and I hope that MiSs or Niko, give it a quick read.

Thanks for responding.

To my mind the issue with the forums is that everything is so dispersed that most find it hard to navigate. I just thought collating all the community projects into one thread would help. I would suggest that one of the other pinned threads in [this] sub forum be removed (the one that just mentions one 'community' site). My listing includes that entry and it seems silly to have a pin for just one community project and not a pin for a thread, that lists all of them.

I hope I have convinced you to change your mind! If in agreement please change your vote, like and report for the pin!

Cheers!

I Fully support this effort. Nice compilation Purplefluffybunny. Perhaps PGI will take note of the community's desire to run leagues and perhaps even start to understand that there is more money to be made by supporting league play and giving us lobbies then there will be in their current business model. I have Voted Liked and reported for the pin!!

Not sure if this counts, but Mekwars: Legends is about to start its 7th cycle. Original battletech style league using Java. Still lots of fun if anyone likes the tabletop game.

http://www.mekwarsle.../Home_Page.html

Thats the main page for the website.

Sure I can list it but under what category? How does it work? Is it just tabletop done through java and played online? If so I would list it under 'BT computer gaming projects'.

It is tabletop played through java online yes. It is much different (and better imho) than many other servers like MMNET and mekwars forever.
