I pilot a speed-tweaked Jenner-7F peaking at 139 kph. My ping is about 120. Since this patch, the amount of rubber-banding is making the game unplayable ffor me. Shame.

I actually was able to more reliably hit fast mechs before state rewind. After state rewind I find it much more difficult. 30-50ms

Okay , after the hotfix , hitdetection seem correct (read 95% of the time).

I still miss shots that I land on my screen. Especially at short range. HSR for ballistics is definitely not as good as the laser one.

This isn't working right. time and time again I'm seeing and hearing direct hits and nothing. even on stationary targets. my ping is below 100. and this is really begining to drag me down against lights in close quarters. within 100m and things look great the sound and the visual of the rounds hitting and NOTHING!

Something is seriously messed up with PPC hit registration...i'd say between 20-30% of clear hits don't register.

Not sure if I'm still adapting to not having to lead as much or what, but some matches it seems like I'm getting a few non-detected hits with my AC5s (Jager build). Visually it looks like I hit them pretty solidly but the crosshair doesn't turn red.

Your HSR for ballistics still needs work.

In a match I was just in a Cicada over heated and shut down in the river delta on River City night and I got a direct hit with an AC20 to his center torso and the game didn't register it.

Yep, HSR for ballistics is still not working right, I am still getting client side hits that the server says are misses.

I'm just gonna add onto the hit detection needs work bandwagon. I don't know why but it's really bad for me. I've been charged by assault mechs running at me in a straight line, land 6-8 PPC shots squarely on their CT and only one registers as an actual hit. Ping is usually in the 20-40 ms range.

Was playing my Awsome for a few nights this week and even though my shots hit the target they seem to have a 50% chance of doing nothing. I have noticed that this seems to occure more on matches where my low ping of 46 is paired off against 120+ ping the higher the ping of the target the less likely I am to hit them at range. Up close the broad side of a barn effect seems to take over and you can not miss hitting them but shoots do seem to at times hit the left torso when my client shows a hit on the center torso.

So I am wondering how HSR deals with lower ping to higher ping shooting. From the reports I have gotten and seen higher ping people seem to be injoying the new hit detection. Where me and some other lower ping people I play with all seem to have shots that do not count.

This is true. While the hit register is still somewhat better ofttimes it doesn't register damage, PPC, ERPPC, AC 20 and Gauss still display paper doll flash with NO damage registered far too often and yes I am WELL within optimum range.

Honestly i must admit the current state is very close to Battletech TT, each hit on my mouse button is like a dice roll.

LOL Then my dice need switched played a game last night hit about 70% of my shots but only had about 30% of those acturaly do damage. With ERPPC's. Gave up on balistics after that match. It also does not seem to be effecting a guy I play with much. We ran the same build last night and where side by side. He seamed to do damage with every shot vrs my 1/3 of my shots. He had damage in the 400 range while mine was 200 or lower.

Went to lasers and we ran the same way both shooting when the other shot. Out come both in the 500 range of damage that match. His ping was about 60ms where mine is 48 ms.

I have noticed that I seem to have the worst hit chance with balistics when I am the lowest ping in the game.

Is this the reason for all of the rubberbanding that's been going on? Also, I've noticed PPCs and Gauss shots that go through their exploding animation on a mech that result in no damage.
