I'm in New Zealand and my ping is usually 210.
With this HSR my AC20's fire immediately and I'm hitting far easier.
Cheers!

Now that I can - which ballistics provide the greatest DPS?

AC/2s - run hot, best used in groups of three and more. Very limited ammo but you can push massive damage in a short period of time.
UAC/5s - heavier, require way more crit space, also tend to jam, a lot. Most mechs can pack only two of them, three only on Ilya?

PPC's are freaking deadly now, and i.... I CAN HIT WHAT I AIM AT.
No more obscure arcane rituals and chanting to try and find an aim off point. No more firing 5 or 6 shots of UAC5s to walk my fire onto a target like bloody world war 1 artillery.
Awesome.

DEFINITELY can feel the difference, and thats a good thing. I average a 70-90 ping, so I didn't think it'd help much... but then I plugged a 180ping jenner, and it all made sense. I do think ballistics/ppc's may be king of the battlefield at the moment.
I feel bad for highlanders though. Assaults are already a big target, and speed doesn't mean as much now that you don't have to imaginary aim your targets. I think they'd have been much more intimidating pre state rewind.
So far I'd rather meet one of them than another atlas.
well back to playing, I think I'll dust off my CTF-4x

You watch your mouth son. Streaks require the most skill of any weapon in any game ever!

You can fit up to four UACs on one of the Mic Jaggermechs, three is a more viable combo, though.

Try 3 or -4- UAC5 too. 3 is about eleventy billion times more viable than 4, but 4 is just amazing fun, until your ammo runs out after 4.3 seconds.
