Lost about 0,6 kph in my Jenner so it's not a biggie. But yes, I still think they should write that a modification in the speedcalc has been implemented anyways...

So after reading this, I did a test and, I think you guys are experiencing a bug. I tested both my hunchbacks, my catapult a jenner and a raven. All speeds were normal for me. Ran one of the awesomes and it did seem a bit sluggish, but it's still a newer mech and I didn't remember T/S value off hand so not sure there. Other aws was fine. Most of those have speed tweak so... Send in a ticket to support.

I can confirm that my RVN-3L lost 1kph, and my AWS-9M lost .5kph.

I can't, however, confirm whether or not this is a speed tweak issue since all my mechs have it. Can anyone who does not have speed tweak for a chassis confirm if this is a nerf to speeds in general, or specifically to speed tweak?

You could also say the speed reduction was to make way for MASC to ensure the netcode doesn't get murdered by high speed light mechs.

Juuuust a thought.

Yeah, I can see that. Given that MASC doubles speed, since they chopped 1kph off my raven it will now only go 298.4 instead of 300.4- a wise bit of foresight indeed.

I really can't tell if you're being sarcastic, but I am more than sure they will not add it in at "Table Top" values. =P

I don't recall MASC even remotely increasing speed that much in MechWarrior 2, unless it was a bug. =P

MASC doesn't double speed. It turns your run speed (which is normally walk * 1.5) into double your walk speed. In MWO terms, it would "only" be a 33% speed buff.

Hmm possibly a bug resulting from the Host state rewind or something.

You aren't the first I've seen put forth this idea, and it sounds as logical a guess as any (and moreso than most).

My AWS-9M has lost over 4kph! ;)

No rhyme or reason.

Looks like we got TT dice rolling after all.

Dear staff please inform us on whether or not this is a bug, or a glitch. I'm not about to blow 20+ million cbills on new engines just to see this get hot fixed in 2 days or w/e.

Appreciate the ongoing progress, but we'd all like to know what is going on, it takes 5 seconds to tell us, thanks.

Whether or not this is a bug or intended it just further reinforces the notion that PGI has no real QA team, they just use the players as substitutes.

I'm tired of PGI leaving it to the community to find out what the mystery meat is on patch day all the time. PGI either has no idea what goes in it or just doesn't like telling us for some stupid reason.

but this is what we are supposed to do. we are BETA testers.
