It's silly that equipment like the BAP, NARC, and CC are almost entirely useless when so many excellent suggestions that fit perfectly into the game have been suggested. Mostly simple number tweaks, nothing too taxing to implement.
PGI's communication with the community has been dreadful lately. Hostile, pouty, defensive, they treat the core player base like the enemy. It's disgusting.

Machineguns need to be buffed, they excuse of them being ballistic lasers is just that, an excuse. Considering some variants are go to variants as is, I would be leery of any new variant especially fi it is a more popular variant because it has the ideal hardpoints on it.
Your assumption is based on TT rules which are radically different from MWO. Since the games play radically different and if you actually sit down and do some calcs, you will find the clan mechs if they are converted as is are at best, on par with current battlemechs, or at a severe disadvantage. So people asking for clans to fight at a handicap seem to be making grievous errors.

People either assume PGI is made of all-knowing Gods or PGI is made of incompetent people. No, PGI is made of people. They proved they can be very talented and can do lots of good decisions but they also proved they can be stubborn and mistaken.
It was necessary a great community cry-out to change the first coolant concept - which proves that our opinions might me right and might be listen.

You do not own PGI. So maybe if you told them how, not vaguely, but specifically they might just take notes and try one or two. Right now you have a list of things you believe need to be "fixed" with no input on how to actually fix them or why in detail they are wrong.

This right here. I am still a bit at a loss that they went to open beta without lobbies and CW.
None of the information i've seen about their CW makes me think it's that amazing that it couldn't be in testing already.

Because each point has been discussed, argued over, rediscussed, have multiple paged threads with all the ideas you had in them over a thousand times over. Long story short it was already discussed damnit!

In all seriousness they need to do this for marketing and promotion reasons (which is part of running a business after all). As they approach launch, they need to have material to provide web sites and publications to generate publicity. If everything is known already, said sites/publications won't write about it, thus no publicity.
