I like this guy. Lots of fire!

Certain bugs have been around curiously long - there's no doubting that. Should be more than okay for people to vent about it as I'd say the 'patience' phase is past.

It's certainly not beta. Simply calling it beta does not make it beta.

No, your close to forty, and still swear at people on a online forum.... Don't grow old, Grow up. Let me guess, you still live in your parents basement?

I've been doing it for many years. No reason to stop now. If you're being a dumbazz, I'll tell you so. Why mince words?

I live with my girlfriend in our apartment. Average place, but have nice enough neighbors.

I noticed you attacked me personally rather than what I said. Run out of arguments and decide to be offensive instead?

Who's acting tuff (sic) now? Who personally attacked who first? I don't think you would say anything you say online to anyone's face. I doubt you would call some random stranger "old man" to their face. You are a hothead and keep proving it. I work with people like you all the time, all bluff and bluster until some "old man" makes them pick up their teeth with broken fingers. I'm laughing at you because you have a lot of growing up to do.

Your rant is still very tired. Since you are still learning how to act around people, my statement about getting the **** off my lawn was an attempt at humor, because, you know, your post was pretty stupid to begin with. Now run home, I hear your momma calling.

The **** it is "gamebreaking." We've had ACTUAL gamebreaking bugs, and a loss of map isn't one.

either these people saying having no hud or mini maps are ******* super men, or complete scrubs who don't use the tools they are given.

Because personally I find losing the minimap terrible it destroys my ability to respond in a tactical way to enemy force disposition and I end up only being able to attack head on.

losing the hud entirely i just quit.

**** playing with no friend or foe indicators.

THIS. IS. BETA. Report it to the Support E-mail address. Send them any log files they request. They need more of these from many different people so they can spot any patterns that might indicate where the problem is coming from.

Oh, come on. Don't use the "it's beta" excuse. Even if it is, these bugs have been around for a long time now. Not only that, but they got worse. You can have no IFF, no IFF on full zoom, no HUD, no map, rainbow map, invisible map, not updating map,...
And I'm fairly sure PGI does know about these issues already.

The question is, what's their plan about getting these bugs out of the game. We have no timeline or information if they are even working on it at all.
And although I like the game, it's frustrating if you can't tell who is on your team and who is not or where everyone is every other match, because these bugs aren't even rare but common.
Almost every match there will be someone whose radar/map/HUD is not working.

I agree the shoddy spotting mechanics and friend or foe bugs can really get you killed if you are a brawler because it throws your map awareness off. There is some breathing room with 450 meter or more range since you dont need to get in brawling range. I cant tell you how many times i see on the map a friend being attacked by 1 guy 300 meters away behind cover, i turn the cover to see him and there is 4 guys in his face.... Thats an example of the spotting mechanics, the fof bug is bad for brawlers especially if the minimap is bugged and you cant see anyone so you are basically following people and hope a enemy gets within 270 meters.

[Redacted] I design/ program machines that produce thousands of products in a day. Something as vital as the main operator screen would be fixed day 1. I am sorry for dishing a complaint about inaction which is COMPLETELY unacceptable in the modern industrial/ programing world offends you. It's not a tired argument. It is fact.
Separate question, my textures pop in and out. I tried the replace textures pack. Hasn't worked. Anything else I can do? I don't think it is a fps issue. I get 60.

By looking out of your cockpit.

Quoted for effect. Learn to read the battlefield rather than rely on your HUD.

Please, tell us more about how much better you are than us "tuff old guys" by hiding behind your screen and regaling us with your exploits of road rage.

By your own words, you would have fired yourself already. Acting stupid? You covered that one by asking how the hell are you supposed to play without a HUD. Unwilling to take suggestions? You got that one by ignoring multiple suggestions to file a bug report or follow your team mates or learn to read the battlefield. Total disrespect? Ding ding! You called someone an old man, got pissy about my joke, admitted you have road rage and then saying we are the stupid ones and saying we should leave.

I don't disagree that there are bugs. Everybody gets the bugs. It's not news. We don't need more threads about your special snowflake situation in General Discussion. When you rant inside a disrespectful post asking the devs what they do all day with a strident tone, you are setting yourself up to get flamed. That's pretty stupid to think otherwise. Next time, post up what's going on in the appropriate forum, the one called "Support and Feedback." It's there for a reason. That's where I post my problems, along with my system info, so maybe the devs can use it to help them fix something.

I won't suggest you leave like you suggested we leave because that is quite rude and doesn't help anything. Maybe all you need is a nap and a soothing lullabye song. I would suggest you take a break and try again after the next patch. Maybe by then, some of the bugs will be worked out because some people took the time and tried to help instead of throwing a temper tantrum.

There's no point in sending in support tickets anymore, all they do every time is ask you to send in dxdiag and log files.. then they always hit you with the same answer no matter what the issue is: DERP! REINSTALL MWO

Not true. I found a shiny new bug that they're now working to resolve. The "problem" is that they're already aware of a lot of these graphical issues and are just doing their best to collect data right now to resolve them and yes, often a reinstall will fix a lot of issues. I've gotten into the habit of doing a clean install after every patch and my client is working better than ever. It's anecdotal yes, but just because they're saying what you don't want to hear doesn't mean support is worthless.

In related news: UAC5s will be working better for everyone at some point. You're welcome. :)

Are they? Cause most, if not all, the current bugs have been known about since closed beta and they're still here.
