Crappy tech priests can't hold a bucket full of nuts imo. Anyway, I feel terrible for the snakes... NOT!

You sure you still have contact with Constance as well?

OPERATION REVIVAL: 1ST WAVE

Constance System, Draconis Combine
9 April 3050

Despite what we thought Draconis forces would not engage our forces in honorable combat. The Honor Guard resorted to ambushes and other devious tactics. When they realized that even dishonorable tactics were not bringing them success they went as far as poisoning the general water supply, assuming that the Ghost Bear forces on planet did not have their own reserves.
Because of this atrocity, Star Colonel Chou Vong declared The Honor Guard dezgra and brought the entire 68th Striker Cluster to finish off the Constance defense force.

Bet its a bad maintenance patch on their part. Software can be a *****, particularly when you aren't 100% sure what you're doing

I know everyone is all "technology is magic" over at C*, but I've seen some crap like this in my old days when we pushed out updates to the black boxes - high command would get so pissed they would turn 3 shades of purple.

Mysterious Hyper-pulse Generator outages in the Periphery, reports of aliens and pirates on the Periphery worlds, and now a bunch of snake worlds have gone completely dark? Bad things seem to be happening....

Well......maybe we should start re-thinking how much faith we put in ComStar. I don't care if it's a clumsy tech or bad software or, god forbid, intentional sabotage. 7 planets offline? At the same time? I can swallow one, maybe two. But seven? That shows gross incompetence in my opinion.

At this time, none of the core worlds I visited seem to have a sense of mass concern, especially places quiet enough where I think military commanders might be planning worst case scenarios.

As far as my last water and ice freight run went fending off pirate aerotechs, right now the last few pilots of the freighters are feeling awfully jittery that they may be next.

If something can black out seven comm link stations, they sure as hell can easily knock down our logistical capability.

Isn't it just like the media to downplay things? Seven worlds gone silent at the same time? I'd say they're hiding something >.> Could be some kind of new virus spreading through the Comstar network, or something worse.
