I have been playing this game for a few months now and have mastered all of the assault mechs EXCEPT the Highlander (I'm working on it). But I just may not bother to master any other mechs. I am just having WAY too much fun with this one. It is just 90 Tons of good ole fun, stomping around blowing stuff up! It dosent do as much damage as a stalker or atlas, is not as fast or has the torso twist of an awesome but in my highlander i have taken one 2 atlas simultaneously and not only punched them in the face but went on to kill another 2 mechs afterward. So I ask, why isn't every match just a bunch of highlanders beating the snot out of each other.

Nice video, word of caution though. Standing on one spot like that is just asking to get HS or CT.

I know, if you stop you usually die shortly thereafter, but THE WHOLE TEAM including the guys I was shooting at either ignored me or were on information overload or were tunnel visioned on the rest of the team. idk how I lived through the overheat to be honest. But i just love that mech <3

Because if you don't shell out money, you get de-hunched (like a Hunchback 4G) and lose all your decent weapons.

Can't really agree.

I haven't got HM. I absolutely LOVE running my 733P and 733Cs (both of them). I do have to be careful to twist alot, and not get in the middle of a furball, because it definitely is more fragile than an Atlas, but this has been the first Assault Mech I have actually enjoyed, and no, I almost never Poptart. I just like it's blend of armor, firepower and mobility. Like it a lot better than I thought I would. I think, in a couple of months, when HM goes on sale, I might add one of them too. I was Brawling in my 733C w/ AC/20, streaks and 2 ERPPC most of the night. Haven't had that much fun since they took away my CN9-AH.

Can't afford it. I started to play my Founder's Atlas for the first time to try to make some Cbucks and I liked it and stuck with them. Besides, I already have a poptart mech with my Cat 3D, why would I want 3 more?

Yeah.. I do miss my Founders bonuses... just feel totally outclassed in all but the Catapult chassis. And I was having so much fun running my Highlanders this weekend that I earned about 20 million..... and spent it all again, lol.

On the weekend I would routinely see 7 highlanders on each side, with myself as the only light.

I figured this was a satire post from the title... guess not.

The higher you rise in ELO, the more you see them. Lower ELO folks often don't have the cbills or MC yet to buy them day one.

Lame... Brawling in my RS, now that's fun, and when collisions are back...oh I get giddy at the thought. Harassing with a 4SP, also fun. But that, that would bore me.

I thought the same thing. Til I tried it. As a general rule, I hate assault mechs, and have been underwhelmed with JJs. Oddly, in this chassis, I find I like both.
