With how the mechanics work right now a Raven 3L with a good pilot should be able to beat anything in this game in a one on one fight.

One Vs One, My Hunchback 9MLaser Swayback tends to do well against lights (including Raven 3Ls). Most lights don't like messing with a Swayback because it is a leg sweeper.

But I like Commandos better. And Highlanders best.

I gotta say the atlas. Not the best boater, but i find its load-outs the most adaptable. It's armor allows high DPS to be affective vs high alpha.

Centurion! Because it is constantly evolving, and can usually compete in the current meta. Once SRMs get back on their feet (or alpha-striking gets a nerf, whichever comes first) I expect to see a lot more of them. That, and there's that famous, impossible Centurion durability.

Didn't they already nerf at least one Cent so that it cannot fire all of it's srms in one burst, but gets that wimpy partial trickle?

I have always preferred the Atlas; it lends itself to my tactical style and can be adapted to perform in many roles including Sniper which is primarily what I am. The Question was, Which has been the best Mech so far (Overall). Although I am loathed to admit it, there can really only be one unit that stands head and shoulders above the rest. When faced with one of these, I do what I can and hope that another member of my lance is around to help. When faced with two of these, I reside myself to certain death, usually very quickly. My nemesis and in my honest opinion the ultimate Mech is the Jenner.

If only they had let it have ECM, I'd still be piloting my founder's Jenner.

Seriously, deserves it's own polling option. One more option should be: "whichever mech can fit the most machine guns." Because MG's are clearly totally OP and in need of a serious nerf.

I do like Cataphracts but I don't like the missile slots on them, and their low slung arm weapons (although they do look cool).

Atlas and Catapult definitely belong at the top. I think the Atlas edges out the Catapult due to the easy to hit head on the cat.
