Hello! I appreciate the new Clan forums, but no clan (except maybe Coyote) should have to endure being called a "minor" clan. I wonder if the description could be changed to "home" clans or something along those lines. Thanks!

"Stay at home" clans?
"Housewife" clans?
"Cook better than they shoot" clans?
"Support" clans?
"Lazy" clans?
"Slacker" Clans?
"Coward" clans?

Just tossing out ideas :(

But if I were you, I`d be starting to think "minor" may not be so bad after all :) *raises beer stein*

... Steel Viper and Nova Cat would like to have a word with whoever considered us slacker, coward, or stay at home Clans. We carved a significant chunk of space out on our own, thank you very much.

That said, I can imagine since the player base for both is tiny, at the very least a combined CSV/CNC forum might be nice. :( Unlike the others, we were not at home minding the kids. We were out there, fighting.

Well, CCC, CSA, CC, and the all new CSL (formerly CHH) are called Homeworld Clans. CFM, CIH, CBS, and CSV are not called at all (after 3075), CW and CJF are probebly the only ones that remain, while CSR, CGB, and CDS/CSF said "screw it" and settled in. CNC found a home, and then CSC broke off, and promptly said "screw this" and joined CSF.

So the hell with minor - how do we call these other wankers?

What about the Not-Named-Clan? Are you suggesting that they receive the honor of a subsection?

Yeah, they can have a section.

Just leave it unlisted so it does not show up on the forum directory. :(

...so, you guys don't have a problem with "cook better than they shoot" Clans, right?

You are correct no Clan should be considered "MINOR". PGI is not calling them Minor.<p class="post entry-content ">

Greetings Sibko!

The Clan sub-forum has had a redesign in anticipation for Operation Revival!

Please check out the new Factions! As such, the Clan sub-forum has been redesignated to "The Pentagon Worlds" to allow for an archive of generic Clan discussion.

If you would like one of your threads to be moved to a Clan-specific forum, please report it and leave a message to our Moderation team "Move to [Specify Sub-forum]" and they will be happy to assist you as soon as they are able, provided the thread is relevant to the specified sub-forum.

Thank you, and good luck in your preparations: Let's make Kerensky proud!

So you have the Invading Clans. Currently there are only 4 Clans who have earned the privilege to be involved in the Clan Invasion. 2 more are included later on, but, do not show up until the last Wave.

Then you have the Clans who are still back on the Home Worlds.

Hey, at least we are actually CONSIDERED Clans now. Better than being considered Merc Corp or Pirates with a canon Clan name.

"Homeworld Clans"
Blood Spirit
Burrock
Cloud Cobra
Coyote
Fire Mandrill
Goliath Scorpion
Hell's Horses
Ice Hellion
Snow Raven
Star Adder

"Inner Sphere Clans"
*Diamond Shark (Sea Fox)
Ghost Bear
Jade Falcon
*Nova Cat
*Steel Viper
Smoke Jaguar
Wolf

*These Clans are currently (April 3050) Homeworld Clans, but will join the Invasion after the Year of Peace.

"Historical Clans"
Mongoose
Not-Named (Wolverine)
Widowmaker

There you go, a simple and accurate organization for the Clans, using their current (as of April 3050) titles, that shouldn't offend any one Clan.

EDIT: The quote from Niko Snow was posted while I was typing this. And the Diamond Sharks join the invasion as well Skylarr.

Diamond Skate (Clan Diamond Shark)

The Command Trinary of the Diamond Skate, led by then-Khan Ian Hawker accompanied the initial invading force to the Inner Sphere. The Trinary took part in the Jade Falcon conquest of the Periphery world of Last Chance.

Quote

Clan Diamond Shark was originally named Clan Sea Fox by Nicholas Kerensky. Its behavior, exemplified by its name change, marks it as one of the most unique of all the Clans.

During the Political Century, the Diamond Sharks tended towards the Warden viewpoint, though the election of Ian Hawker swung them to the Crusader camp just in time for Operation Revival. The Diamond Sharks did not fare well enough to be included in the invasion force, but won a Trial of Refusal naming them as a reserve clan.

The Diamond Sharks were given the opportunity to win the planet Nysterta from the Ghost Bears and participated on Tukayyid, though they were utterly defeated. The only way any Diamond Sharks survived was through the noble sacrifice of its freeborn warriors, whom Khan Hawker despised. The Diamond Sharks lost Nystera soon afterwards and returned to Clan space to protect their holdings.

Nysterta is a Periphery world.

Please show me were there were involved in the Invasion of the Inner Sphere and what IS planets there were on.

Please refer to this Thread.
The Clan Invasion Route and Time Line

There were only 4 Clans Involved in the initial Invasion. 3 others were ask to join in. One did not mobilize on time. The other 2 mobilzed in time to be involved in the last wave in November 3051-January 3052.

In the Trials to determine who would participate in the invasion, Clan Goliath Scorpion was left out of the initial wave, although they were able to take advantage of the situation. With so many units away from the homeworlds on their Crusade, many Seekers began searching through areas previously considered too heavily-defended. SaKhan Posavatz himself was nearly killed on the Smoke Jaguar world of Tranquil during one such raid, barely escaping from a terrible battle outside the city of Blood River. He would later win a Trial of Possession against Clan Steel Viper in 3049 for the right to accompany them into the Inner Sphere, taking with him his retinue and a Star of 'Mechs.

While Clan Goliath Scorpion was not official listed in the Clan Invasion it did have a Star of Mech involved in the invasion.

pssst... they belong in the IS section. After their meeting with Conrad Toyama (and we all know who the most fanatical followers of Toyama are) whatever remained of the Not Named Clan was integrated into C* private army.

I believe it goes under the Warden Clans, and the Crusader Clans. The Warden clans don't believe in being hypocrites and the Crusader Clans want to fix things with Violence, Very Inner Sphere in my opinion. lol irony

The Violence WHY IT NO WORK?!

They are created much later in the timeline (if you consider dark ages to be part of the BT timeline).
