Great - another map with the likeliness of temperatures over 40c - excellent! Look forward to running this new idea for a JJ capable mech with PPC's and a Gauss loadout - I will just pop up over the ridges and fire on targets, then drop down out of sight! It will be so exciting to run a complete lance with that loadout - and I am sure the opponents will love the challenge. GG! GL HF! It's like the new map knew what I was thinking!

the guys who manage your twitter account really know how to turn off...

yeah, that map is nice, but we already had screenshots - and didn't need a "big tease" for something everyone knew about...
it's not like i'm not looking forward to that map - it looks awesome - but it is not fair to tease the community like that without delivering something "new"

It is a great looking map.

I missed this information so everyone didn't see it. Should of kept my eye on the general forums .......

Leg profile and size at that distance is not right for a Timber Wolf. It is right for a silhouette of a Stalker however.

Agreed. A screenshot of a map that was already revealed is not the kind of news you need to tease, and then delay for a day with no explanation. They did a poor job of managing expectations on this release. It's difficult to imagine how releasing a screenshot needed a day's delay, so naturally people began to speculate it was something greater - alongside the forum reorganization the same day, as well as Bryan's AMA, it's easy to see how people feel let down by this.

I think they've got a great game, but the last few weeks/months, PGI has done a worse and worse job with the info pipeline. I'd like to see them take a step back and refocus their planning on how/when/why they share information with the public.
