Yes, 200 is 8 kills + win + survive. Damage should only ONLY subtract from a player's score, unless "team damage" means something not obvious to me.

5 x 200 = 1000

team damage is damage done by you to your own team. aka "friendly fire"

Do you have a source for that because I didn't see it defined anywhere, and "team damage" to me would be the entirety of the damage done by your team. Making damage a ratio is also a much better idea than penalizing you for friendly fire (why not just stand in front of the #1 guy who is on your team then) Having another tournament which is just a damage stacking competition seems unfun.

What does "team damage" mean to you?

I do wonder if self-damage is kept track of (like lights and constant leg damage and/or damage by bumping into an enemy opponent) and how that is recorded.

About *bleeping* time there is some kind of penalty for shooting up your team mates! Still, going to sit this tournament out. Too close to the previous one for me.

This was factored in the previous tourney.

Damn. I'm looking at the results for mediums right now.

Current top score it 887. That is 177.4 on average per game.

That is comes down to:

Survive & Win, 4 Kills, 4 Assist, 261 Damage.
Survive & Win, 3 Kills, 5 Assist, 411 Damage.
Survive & Win, 2 Kills, 6 Assist, 561 Damage.

How do you get people to line up for you like that?

edit: And we're up too 927 now. Damn.

Are going to get a total number of participants in each category? The only numbers for total participants we ever saw here was for the very first tournament (and even then, that came through an infographic). These figures are important to learn your standing among the participants. Without this information, it's impossible to judge what coming in 15th, or 20th, or 200th even means without a total number to base it against.

Please put people dropping in the tourney into a seperate drop. Also take as long as you need, I dont care but match ELO scores as close to possible. I'm sick of losing every match with multiple kills and 600+ points of damage only to lose because the steering wheel underhive run around and commit suicide every ******** game

In the tourney description weekly totals are those for the previous 7 days.

Why then is the currently weekly total Day1 x2 + Day2?

I've not seen anywhere that says 7 days + your best single day again.

What have I missed?

I have been getting roughly 600 damage with something like 5 kills and 1 assit/ 3 kills and 3 assist - this has got me a score of around 850 which is still pretty good, but im guessing to get 1000 you either need more damage or max out those kills?

Yea I'm at 30th with 816 points on the medium board... the majority of the 5 games that got me there were 4kill/3assist with 300-500+dmg ranges. To score big you need to get large amount of kills and probably 500-600+ damage, but since I'm seeing all the leaderboard players I'm up at the elo that's challenging...

How the hell can someone do over 1200 damage in 5 games? With a heavy on top of that.

This would mean do to 8 kills (surviving and winning match) + at least 600 damage with no team damage.

In such a small time-frame I call bullcrap.

Easy they drop early in the off-time... pug stomp hard before it gets hard. I saw the heavy leaders yesterday just in cataphracts either in a 3D with 3 PPC's, or another in a 1X with 4 PPC's... It's all about high alpha builds for the damage, then making sure you're ksing everything you can. Hell I use using a Treb sniper build for the high alpha and long-range firepower, but still ended brawling with it.

They don't... just they finally noticed that the elo data they wanted from weight class tournaments was just as stupid as saying 3PV is coming or that we need a coolant consumable. This entire tournament is meant to force people into using every weight class to heavily test their elo system... which is still giving some screwed match-ups whether tonnage wise or giving one side all the pre-mades for a pug stomping.

These things have been nothing more then getting people to buy their new ingame content, or to force the playerbase to actually test their elo for pug's. What elo still doesn't do is compensate for 4-man's, and what this tournament should do is isolate those that opted in, into another queue so that a real competitive edge is brought in other then the luck of the draw with a team.

How can it be a tournament if we are facing teams? Seriously. The Participants need to be separated from the groups if we are forced to fight solo.

LOL Less than 280 points is separating 132 place from 10th in heavies.
