Do you have a source for that because I didn't see it defined anywhere, and "team damage" to me would be the entirety of the damage done by your team. Making damage a ratio is also a much better idea than penalizing you for friendly fire (why not just stand in front of the #1 guy who is on your team then) Having another tournament which is just a damage stacking competition seems unfun.

I do wonder if self-damage is kept track of (like lights and constant leg damage and/or damage by bumping into an enemy opponent) and how that is recorded.

Current top score it 887. That is 177.4 on average per game.
That is comes down to:
Survive & Win, 4 Kills, 4 Assist, 261 Damage.
Survive & Win, 3 Kills, 5 Assist, 411 Damage.
Survive & Win, 2 Kills, 6 Assist, 561 Damage.
How do you get people to line up for you like that?
edit: And we're up too 927 now. Damn.

Why then is the currently weekly total Day1 x2 + Day2?
I've not seen anywhere that says 7 days + your best single day again.
What have I missed?

This would mean do to 8 kills (surviving and winning match) + at least 600 damage with no team damage.
In such a small time-frame I call bullcrap.

Easy they drop early in the off-time... pug stomp hard before it gets hard. I saw the heavy leaders yesterday just in cataphracts either in a 3D with 3 PPC's, or another in a 1X with 4 PPC's... It's all about high alpha builds for the damage, then making sure you're ksing everything you can. Hell I use using a Treb sniper build for the high alpha and long-range firepower, but still ended brawling with it.

These things have been nothing more then getting people to buy their new ingame content, or to force the playerbase to actually test their elo for pug's. What elo still doesn't do is compensate for 4-man's, and what this tournament should do is isolate those that opted in, into another queue so that a real competitive edge is brought in other then the luck of the draw with a team.

LOL Less than 280 points is separating 132 place from 10th in heavies.
