My best match so far was 7 kills 1 assist, 1300 DMG. No DC. Omg I must have sync dropped!

True enough. But only looking at the 'good' flier matches is not a true indication of my ability either.

My problem with the event is just that it doesn't reward doing a lot of the smaller things that some 'mechs might be built for. TAG assists get no bonus, spotting in general gets no bonuses, and capping bases get no bonus in conquest or assault mode. This seriously cripples the point of the conquest mode for the week, as pilots are forced to choose between taking objectives to help win and possibly miss out on most of the fight or take part in the big fight around one point while the other side's lights take all the other capture points.
