You're right, I did core out your back to yellow. After you alpha'd me, then turned to leave.
Did you think I would just sit there after you fired 3 ppc's and a gauss in response? You put my CT at RED. THAT was when I opened up your back.
But when you walked into my line of fire the first time? Not even. As I stated, I moved off as soon as I realized it was a teammate. And if a fraction of a second from 2 lasers put your ENTIRE BACK at yellow, maybe you should put more than 8-10 points there.
Note to self:
Shoot down Neviu and Sir Dig when they are in the own team. Their presence alone is dangerous enough .
Ignore them when they are in the opponent team, they are going to help you....

this dude is amazing,
stop crying that people are actuactly better than you,
funny stuff
pretty sure the hate isn't against KOreanese, who IS a great pilot (though I note none of his scores posted over 200 match points, like the OP states) BUT, there is at least one recorded instance of someone on the Light leaderboard stripping an AFKer, while his whole drop group stands around and watches. Gaming and collusion, in living color.

At the moment I am not a member of any mercenary corps or house division.
Edit: Also, what hammerreborn said.

Exploits and cheating abound, this is not a real leaderboard yet, as people with more time to play will always do better.
Padded leaderboards are padded.

oh! I wasn't aware that tourneys didn't count group games..
but, I also meant people who launch solo, not sync dropping and stuff. is there a notoriously good Lonewolf (pref one that streams...) that can stomp people whatever the odds? i guess that's what I am trying to find out (so i can worship him!)

All of them.
People may be sync dropping out there, but its a negligible minority. I've spectated some of these guys after I died and seen some big numbers being put up.

Rushing to the front is guaranteed suicide in my games. Most pilots aim well and focus fire in most games I've seen, when ELO has the enough available players to work with. When I rush and am the only target for the 30 seconds it takes my team to catch up, I'm pretty much dead already. Taking 1 or 2 before I go won't help the tourney standings.
Had a few rush around and hit the enemy from behind games, but even then only once did it work out really well. The rest of the enemy usually turned around, again leaving me alone and dead or running for my life. I almost always lead the charge, but nearly always need friendlies to soak up damage as well or provide me something to hide behind when I get focused as the first in the crosshairs. If the enemy splits up (5% of games maybe) I only survive rushing if I run into the group of 3 or less, even then not always because as I said most enemies in my games can aim...
My tactic for the bit of the tourney I participated in was the same as my normal preferred play style: lead the charge while the team is grouped (or be the closest target in a sniping war), hit first, typically get focused by the enemy because I was first, circle behind friendlies or take cover so the enemies would change targets (usually causes enemies to start targeting multiple mechs), rejoin the back of the team and keep firing, and then step back into the crosshairs when another friendly is getting trashed.
Generally force the enemy fire to keep switching targets so the team stays alive and able to keep firing. So bob, weave, twist, charge, intentionally step into fire or otherwise draw fire, and retreat as needed. When my team isn't following the plan (covering each other), it either ends tragically for me or I just stick in back after my first loop around. Man am I long-winded today... guess I should stop typing.
