Good day, everyone! Unfortunately here comes my final result. Which is kind of inevitable thing. :) I really don't wanna go into details, but I had several troubles both with my PC and kodiak files. Solved 'em more or less, but it looks like my 3Dmax files contain some stackable error, so if I continue working with a new file just a bit, this weird bug reappears again.
Really wanted to animate entire model and create some asteriod-like landscape but adding further info to 3d file will inevitably lead to another error.
Managed to work with 'mech's lighting and finished CT.

Excellent work there :) Shame about the bug but I can't really see its effect myself. That is an outstaning and unique model of a Kodiak! That rear ground-perspective shot feels very realistic.

The Bushwacker, one of the only 'mechs I wish the Clans had come up with and not those stravags.

I'm a hard guy to get a compliment from but I must say I'm impressed; of course there's a few minor little details I might've done differently, but we can all see you're becoming a skilled artist with each new component rendered. Your evolving attention to detail and real world mechanics is greatly appreciated, and I'm sure your future projects will impress many. Good luck solving your software issues, any game designer worth their salt knows there's always a glitch to be found and navigated in there somewhere. I'll be keeping my eye out for your next projects. Cheers.

In lore.. heavies or assault at some mechs.. had rear end lasers.. either of small lasers or medium.. at this size of that kodiak.. must have some sort of rear end defense.. although most mech has all weapon at front

The BAD.

Totem mechs are a silly idea that NEVER fit the uber spartan, function over form concept of the clans. Especially since they are actually relatively resource poor so what they have go into what works. Notice the concept of the FIRST 16.

Hence the entire premise of this mech, from it's TT inception, to this render, is ludicrous beyond words. Just look at all that pointless Bling!

Secondly, the mech is so full of shell trap, and has such a massive cockpit, it would not last long at all in a fight, even at 100 tons.

The GOOD?

It looks so amazingly kickbutt that I really don't care about how effective or logical it would be, DO WANT.
