I just find it surprising that your very first post in the forums is to complain about a damn sale and how nobody is going to buy these mechs. They've been doing Trial by Fire sales for a while now. They probably generate income. If they didn't, they'd have tried something else.

Another pointless sale and no patch.

How about...
FIX the map glitching out.
FIX HUD issues
FIX components being removed from 'Mech's in the MechLab on saving.
FIX texture corruption/glitching during gameplay
FIX any of the more than a bazillion stability problems MWO has
FIX Streaks targeting the CT more than any other part of the 'Mech. (Tested that last night, I feel sorry for the Cataphract I tore up with a Streak Cat)

I really hope they don't mess with the PPC's, I love them but they are energy intensive and feel that for so long they sucked. If you have a fast med or light then a ppc boat can die fast to them.

No mech is really worth buying MCs for... unless its your first mech.

Even then, the best mech in the list is the Cent-A for zombie power.

The Raven-4X makes you wish you didn't grind for a Raven 3L...

Awesomes are still pretty not awesome... and are the overweight heavy that needs special attention. I would recommend when bored.

Think I'll go ahead and pick up the Cent. Been thinking about picking one up anyway, and at 740 MC that is into impulse-buy territory. Sure it may not be the king of the meta at the moment, but the meta wil change and missiles wont be aweful forever. Not sure if I can bring myself to keep grinding on my HBK-4P for that module slot anyway, so it would be a nice change.

As for the raven, yeah it sucks, but you you have to buy all three eventually if you ever plan to elite/master a 3L, so why not get it at half price? If you don't want to drive a 3L or don't feel the need for more than basic mech skills on it, ok, I can see why it isn't a good deal. If you do plan on keeping a 3L in the stable, you are probably going to own a 4X just to skill it up. Even if you use a ton of GXP to skill it and never actually drive the thing, you STILL have to buy one in order to unlock the skills. If there were more than 3 ravens, I could see the frustration...but there aren't, and 50% is a pretty nice discount.

I believe there is no Heavy on sale currently because this cycle's trial Heavy Mech is actually a Champion Dragon Mech, one that grants you a 10% per-match XP Boost.

Just a little bummed there isn't anything else going on at the same time as this sale. Usually the weekend patch brings more of an event recently than this.

I think the ability to buy with MC is meant for people with jobs, like me. I just bought the Cent! If it had not been on sale I would have waited and paid for it with the ingame currency. Good on the devs for generating income!
