Just because I don't think their handles or contributions should be forgotten I'm starting this thread. It's for those who are no longer with us but had an impact on the BT community. Feel free to add anyone I don't know about. I know there's more so please add to the list no matter which version of the game they come from they deserve to be remembered.

Thanks Kyll, I am positive there would be others that need to be added to this list.

Condor/Batcat (Mike) - Played on M3L in both House Kurita (as Condor) and Northwind Highlanders (as Batcat). Vietnam veteran and a **** good man. Died of lung cancer in 2000. The pipes still mourn his demise.

<S> to the fallen.

Though they may be no longer among us, their memories we carry forward through future times good and bad, and in so doing we carry them into history.

My sad duty to report:

Grog (yes the original and only) - Formerly of BlackRose clan. TigerAxe lifer.
OniNaga - HK and TigerAxe

Both these men were shining examples of honor. They were not only my team, my friends, they both were family to me. May you both rest in peace. <S>

Both died to health complications.

I don't know if he would have played this or not(simply because I don't know if he played MechWarriors at all), but Albatross from the CBT forums should be included as well.

Albatross passed? I remember him from the CBT forums, and I hadn't heard. Sad news.

Back in my Mechwarrior 2 days, I was in a Clan in NetMech. Waaay back in the very late 90s, and I think partly into the year 2000.

either way, there was this girl that had a brain tumor. Can't remember her name, which perturbs me.

She kept a bright outlook on life for the year that we knew her.

Seyla.

This is not someone who logged into forums, nor played online in any capacity, but bears mentioning for the impact he had on my life, and on my enjoyment of Battletech. He was my best friend for more then 16 years of my life before he passed, and we both greatly enjoyed Battletech/Mechwarrior immensely.
