I use a 3rd party driver for the wireless controller called x360wc. The old English website was taken down, but here's the link to website that still has the files.
http://lavendy.net/s...60wc/index.html
-Download the one for whatever OS you have. I use the one for 64-bit Windows 7.
- Basically all you have to do is uninstall the MS drivers (cause if not WIndows will always pick the MS drivers as the preferred one)
-Then unplug the reciever, plug it back in and when windows asks to find the driver, direct it to the folder you downloaded. It'll ask if you want to install the driver signed by that specific author, click yes and thats it.
-In that same folder where the driver files are you'll see an .exe file called
x360wcsai that opens a program in the toolbar.
-Double-click the program in the toolbar and from there you can customize absolutely everything about the controller. Deadzone, buttons, triggers, thumbsticks, vibration, D-pad, schemes, etc.
If you have any questions, I'll help out.
