now this is first mech I am seriously dissapointed with selection, its bad move from PG

Highlander was much more voted in every pool made about this, also it have jump jets and fits tonnage hole perfectly rather that stalker
thats just 5 ton heavier than Awesome

yes if there was Highlander we would have three humanoid assaults but duck looks,Stalkers chicken nugget legs doesnt help him to DFA

its nice looking but I have zero reason to pick it up over atlas, now if it was Highlander it would be easy choice, the heaviest JJ mech

PG thumbs down for this one

Wow! Very nice! I am surprised and delighted to see one of my favorite old-school Mechs! Sweet looking iteration! I remain remarkably indecisive as to which Mech I want to major in... because there are so many super fine looking rides... and this one is now on the list!

I like it. Sure, I voted for Highlander, but I like this. I'd put one of these in my stable over an Atlas.

Aaaaaaand this game continues on its way towards becoming my (anticipated) most favorite game of all-time.

I'm glad the decision was made to go with the Stalker over the Highlander or some other TRO 2750 'Mech. I would have received the Cyclops well, too, but in all reason the other stuff should wait for their turns later in the development cycle.

Ahhh, the memories of MechWarrior 2: Mercenaries are coming back to me....

Highlander is a Star League 'mech; I don't know what to tell you, but we haven't seen any Star League 'mechs yet. If they include the Highlander in the current selection of 'mechs, then nobody drives anything else. How is this not obvious? You may as well ask for a Timber Wolf.

Love the design, it looks absolutely massive.
Oh and I see what you did there.

This looks beautiful in an ugly way, I like it.

I think this will be my ride of choice, sorry Cataphract. :D

Also, I'm loving that the missile covers will *probably* be animated, that would make me a very happy camper indeed!

Nice! Was impatiently waiting for the past few days for an epic announcment and was not dissappointed. This mech looks like a very heavily armed assault class weapons platform that just obliterates everything in its path with MISSILES! A nice alternative to the mainly energy weapon focused Awesome and armor focused Atlas.

This mech is so versatile with the MWO mechlab rules that you can do variants like:

8x SRM-6
4x LRM-15
2 PPCs + 6 Medium Lasers (of course, with double heat sinks)

The Highlander ceased to be produced a long time ago. In the current year of 3049 it's a very very rare mech. Stalker, in the other hand is the MOST COMMON assault mech. See the difference?

EGG-CELLENT!!! Another egg-spertly rerendered mech. Egg-xactly the assault mech that should have been included. Another egg-xample of the devs egg-ceeding all egg-pectations.

Arrise my EGGZILLA and rain death upon those who would LAAF at your greatness.

Well, when one uses advanced technologies and the other doesn't, it makes all the difference in the world when the Succession Wars wipe all production of said technologies off the map. The Highlander is a very, very rare bird by 3049, and those remaining (outside of Comstar) have been refitted to the -733 model which blows chunks.

If you want a jump capable assault, I wouldn't hold your breath for the Highlander. The Victor is far more likely in this time period.
