My favorite Assault Mech and favorite period.

In tourney's I've played in we had rule that once a player was able to identify that their opponent mech was a stalker and bearing down on them they had to make a roll check for "Shock and Awe". Depending their mech size and damage it had already taken they suffered penalty dice rolls because of fear and reputation of the Stalker. The Stalker would receive a temporary boost as well depending on the opponents rolls.

This "Shock and Awe" also applied to variety of famous mech's "Mad Cat IIC, Atlas, Kodiak, Dire Wolf, Masakari, and Highlander". Of course I wanted the terrifying as a can RC Cola "Urban Mech" to be on the list as well just because it makes the opponent laugh no stop and that might throw off his or her abilities with the tears of insane laughter at the though of facing the giant tin can aka "Urban Mech".

The Stalker has to be one of the ugliest mechs in all of Battletech...and they captured all it's ugliness in a beautiful reimage. Now I don't know what to pilot for an assault. I mean the Atlas and Awesome are menacing, but the Stalker is menacing and ugly; and if I've learned anything from combat vehicles, ugly ones (A-10s, AH-64s, P-47s, AC-130s) always seem to do best, or at least absorb massive amounts of punishment while dishing it out as well...it's just going to be too bad I can't paint a big, gaping shark mouth on her.

That is by far the best looking Stalker I have ever seen. Never liked the look of it before always reminded me of a Crab another ugly mech imho. Now this bad girl looks like an assualt Catapult very well done Dev team I love her.

I think I just found my favorite mech and it's an... assault. Didn't see that one coming. Stalker and Jenner make a good big brother, little brother duo.

Looks really cool as always but it just strikes me as a beefed up Catapult. I look forward to seeing how it plays in game. Also love the little story that came with it. Great writing as always!
