Mmm. It's pretty good I guess. I think it would look a hell of a lot better if it's torso we're rotated 180 degrees. Looks very weird at the moment. Legs and feet are all wrong. If it is just torso twist then I really like it.

I had checked out the Stalker as a lot of people guessed it was going to be the 12th battlmech on Sarna.net before a few times and I have to say that I truely disliked the 'original' art for it.... but... this ... is just AWESOME o.O

I wonder if you guys even can make a mech look bad if you tried

You must be confused, this isn't awesome, this is stalker.

They're bound to make a bad design eventually as much as I've loved everything they put forth so far, just watch they'll botch the urbanmech and there will be much wailing.

:D

aww man, i kinda liked the walking phallus design on my stalker in mpbt3025 (maybe because it was the only 'salt i got before they scrapped the beta). the angry paintjob was great

4 distinct weapons groups .. While I like the idea, its certainly not something Im looking forward to dealing with via ANY control scheme. Pressing the kb is not something Im ever gonna do for fire groups and I dont even know of a JS where thats a viable option considering Most mechs get by just fine with three. Suppose could just put all the lazers in one group and deal with the heat.
still pending.. boring.

although its a fan favorite, I fear this mech is going to be troll city. A catapult is bad enough if you can load it up with srm, This thing is going to be even worse. But as with all things mwo, we will see.

This is what beta testing is for.

u is quoting a post dat no exist.
to be fair, I misread the armament of the thing. Even still, an assault that can pack on the srm is not a good idea. IOW, if you dont need to take lrm and can put srm there instead along with the other srm, thats just a recipe for disaster. Beta testing is going to do nothing about an asset that is in game.

That is what a Stalker should look like. This is excellent design work and a solid AssaultMech for the game, the workhorse of it class!

It's a Super-pult. Nifty. Though I read it's really slow on Sarna. Would be interesting to tweak with an XL engine and some other fine tuning.

lol watch out we have battletech expert ower there  Stalker is 2594 and Highlander 2592....

please tell me how massive difference these two years make over 450 years later....

Umm, the STK-3F Stalker uses standard technology, was used by both the SLDF as well as the House armies and was still in production all though the Succession Wars while the HGN-732 Highlander uses SLDF technology, was only seen within the SLDF, had it's factories destroyed early on in the 1st Succession War and actually went completely extinct shortly afterwards.

Now, consider yourself educated. Those two years don't make much of a difference, but the technology does.
