I love this mech even it it does look alittle suspect. It's a great tabletop ride.
Still use the lvl1 in todays combat enviroment

It's either the Stalker or the Dragon, but I love Assault Mechs and missiles more. Going for the STK-3H instead of the STK-3F because I love missiles more than lasers.
Wonder if I can change the Medium Lasers for PPC or Gauss Rifles, but I sure am gonna keep the SRMs!

one of them will be pink and it'll distract enemies by both: the looks and spraying endless rain towards the enemy!

hmmm interesting sentence here...2 possible interpretations...
(awesome == madcat (It is called TIMBER WOLF for Kerensky's sake...) - arms) -> false
(stalker == Timber Wolf - arms) -> false
and they both are false.

You've built your decision upon a faulty assumption of roles. The Catapult is a siege weapon not really designed for close combat while the Stalker is an assault weapon designed to close with a target and destroy it by applying continuous weapons fire at all ranges. You can't really do that with a Catapult inside of 200 meters until you get within the medium laser's optimum range of 90 meters.

Actually the Catapult is a mini-me version of the Stalker. The Stalker is not only bigger (85 tons versus 65 tons for the Cat), but it's older as well with the Stalker first entering service in 2495 while the Catapult came into service in 2561.
The Stalker is also much, much, much more common on the battlefield, being the primary assault unit for all five Successor States while the Catapult is found mainly in Liao space.

Yep I alrady have a custom vairent for this mech* cant wait for the game to come out!
*4 LRM20's (8 tons of ammo), 4 med lasers,11DHS, and XL engine. The most epic LRM support!!!
Many people would crap themselves when they see 80 missiles coming at them...
About 5 volleys to strip every ounce of armor off an atlas since double armor is here...

From TRO 3050 Upgrade, pg. 220:
Quote
Since the re-opening of StarCorps’ factories on Son Hoa in 3057, brand-new Highlanders have also been pouring into the ranks of Lyran BattleMech units, both regular army and mercenary. Assigned to pro-Katherine units prior to and during the FedCom Civil War, most remain within the Lyran armed forces, though some managed to find their way into the AFFS.
The HGN-732b was completely extinct by 2810 (near the end of the First Succession War).
The HGN-736 doesn't make its debut until 3059 and is exclusive to the Com Guards and the Blakists.
The HGN-734 doesn't make its debut until 3062.
The HGN-694 doesn't make its debut until the FedCom Civil War (3062-3067).
The HGN-738 doesn't make its debut until 3069.
That leaves the HGN-733 as the only truly timeline-appropriate variant.
The -733 line does have two known modifications (neither of which are factory-produced nor would normally be considered "variants" in their own right): the -733C and -733P (one replaces the AC/10 with an AC/20, while the other replaces the AC/10 with a PPC).
It'll be interesting to see what PGI does with regard to the relative dearth of variants.
Also, as for the aforementioned GDL member:
Quote
Davis piloted a Rifleman, affectionately known as "Bannockburn", until it was destroyed during the Clan Invasion. He was then able to acquire a Highlander, which he piloted up until his death.
Davis McCall was killed in combat on Hersperus II in 3065, while defending the planet from an invasion force made up of the 22nd Skye Rangers, the 4th Skye Rangers, the Warships LAS Illustrious and the FCS Indefatigable. McCall died when two enemy 'Mechs, a Rakshasa and a Guillotine, destroyed his Highlander 'Mech and kicked in the cockpit.
