So now the dilemma, do I get a Cicada, a Centurion, a Hunchback, a Cataphract, or the Stalker?

Pretty sure I won't drive the Atlas, Catapult I might consider later, not interested in the Jenner. hrms.

Always hated the design of the original as it always looked like it was off balance or something. This FD design has all the making of being one mean SOB. Very well done and military looking, as well as functional. If FD can make this beast look good... there is still hope for the Urbanmech to look like a little badass :P

It's definitely my favorite all-time mech and I'm glad to see it added.

Might be a matter of taste, but the reverse legs design is sorta irritating to me. It seems wrong the longer I look at it. Might look even better given normal legs.

Great artwork and nice mech! Same LRMs and MLs as Atlas, twice the SRM punch and twin LLs instead of AC/20! I wonder what variant would be available besides STK-3F - 5B, 5S?

And it defeated Atlas-7K with Gauss rifle and ER LLs in the announcement!

Perhaps it's the STK-5S on the artwork, because that little thing on top of the torso can be an AMS - it looks similar to the AMS shown on the weapons concept, if only too small.

Fatapult it is!! love the name, have to use the 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse as names for each variant with those hooves on there.

Oh wow. Just noticed that the protrusions below the LRMs aren't just protrusions like in the original design - FD remodeled them to be missile rack covers...

Bloody clever, Mr. Iglesias. Hat's off to you.

I throw on some more love for the hooves! Keeps the only bit of originality the the old crappy legs had. Chicken walker fits so much better!

Am I the only one who always thought the Stalker looked like a blimp on legs... in the good way? ^^

I like it. Definitely a Stalker. I think the new leg design was needed, and is a suitable improvement over the original design's awkwardness. Still an ugly 'Mech though, in a good way.

As the marketing slogan says:

"It's not flashy. It's not the cutting edge. It just keeps coming."

I'd just like to say: Hey there, Stalker!

I hate to nitpick but... The feet look a little strange to me. It just seems like the Mech would have a hard time staying balanced with those feet. I think the Mech would look a lot more stable with two or three toes on the front of it's feet. Just my two cents.

That said, this is another great redesign by FlyingDebris. Also, the weird knees that bend both ways are gone!

"collapsing the right torso inward as the right arm explodes off and crashes to the ground."

Coring torso = disarming confirmed
