Glad they made it a chicken-walker. The other way looked like it was just waiting to topple over. Also the shorter, stockier torso is welcome. I always hated the blimp on legs look of the old pic.

One of my all-time favorites here. Used an STK-3H way back in the GEnie days... Glorious machine. Sets the bar for "alpha strike"

Man I loved my Stalker in the old hex based table top game.

Big ol' box of death

Always loved the balance of weaponry on the Stalker even though its armor is a bit on the light side. Good heat management is the key to handling this beast.

<happy snoopy dance> how can anyone ever forget that siloute. Love this mech. Guess im going to have to get me one. Started my BT days in a valkyrie. Moved to a Zeus that was a walking scrap heap. Finally captured myself a stalker and ran it for some time. Till I finally parted someone from a Marauder. But still Stalker. ohhh yipppeee. Mommy buy me one of those please.

Actually, the downgraded -733 Highlander remained in action throughout the Succession Wars, until the Helm Core got the Star League-era design back into production. The -732 at this point is back in production on Son Hoa, in Lyran space by 3049- in part because one of the Grey Death Legion members so loved the design he poured a small fortune into getting the -732 restored to manufacture.

I cant think of the pilots name. but he was the scotsman. and it was the bancockburn I think. I so so rember reading that book. And he went to the highlander because it had a superior targeting system to his original rifleman. <gives the evil eye to the Bt wiki. they dont have the targeting system listed. Blast ill have to go dig around in the attic to find the books. because now I want to know

I HATE THIS MECH!!!!! OK I hate what it can do to you with some good medium and light cover/interfernce......basically pound you to pieces!!!! Not looking forward to facing one, but would love having one at my back , supporting my advance.......

Very nice redesign BTW.

Cheers!!

A Stalker is a "hot-seat" in more than one way. Wouldn't have wanted to be the pilot in this scenario... then again I DEFINATELY wouldn't have wanted to be the one in the Atlas

25 pages ladies and gentlemen.. And not one mention of the moniker Death Pickle. I disappoint.

Oh and, it looks great. Like the chicken legs.

in regards to the stalker being common; Ahem..

This is my Stalker. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

My Stalker is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.

My Stalker, without me, is useless. Without my Stalker, I am useless. I must fire my weapons true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me.
