remember MW2? take all the concepts of that, update the graphics, make it so you can build your own mechs add an offline mode with LAN support then you have a good mw game i was. very disappointed by this game exept for the graphics, those are fine.

any thoughts on this do you think mwo is way to dumbed down.

Point is, that PGI do not have any hardcore MW experts, even technical consultants and they dont care about game legacy.
I have played all MW from start and I agree with you.

P.S. PGI thinks minimap = radar ! How lame is that?

IT IS BETA, they say :(

It should have same features as all previous games ! Progress is non-existing here.

Just play and hope, PGI has any idea, how to make this game good.

Definitely a case of looking at the past with rose tinted glasses. I don't miss playing against 200 kp/h 16 machine gun toting Mad Dogs ( just an example of what the mechlab allowed in MW2 )

Of course, I respect your right to have a different opinion.

As great as MW2 was, I think MW2 was very dumbed down compared to MWO (accounting for the state of technology in 1995) . But that simplicity was its strength. MWO feels like a hot buggy mess with limited content right now.

PGI’s vision for MWO has not yet been realized. Be patient.

Welcome to k-town.

Set aside your dice and your joysticks

and your preconceptions.

Bask in the glory of the Post.

Reject your assumptions,

realize that you will never get what you want

but you might just get what you need.

Also,

as a serious topic,

this needs a poll.

This is not constructive feedback, as such, it is going to K-town.

This is inaccurate. We have a number of MW experts and fans on staff (myself included) and a number of consultants related to the franchise. Some legacy aspects of the old MW games are being dropped, for example the imbalance between weight classes. Others are being changed from previous iterations.

Where is logic?
1. Cicada, Atlas and others have same amount armor in head component, but not same sizes.
2. Atlas and Catapult K2 ballistic weapon takes hit before internal structure on the side torso.
3. Actual appearance is not important for armor, but for hitboxes.

Suggestion: do some consulting please. Use help that YOU have.

Good to see someone at your ripe age still doesn't understand the to/too/two rule, or how to use the shift key.
