What Mech would you most like to pilot while doing your IT work?

I don't think I could use a keyboard while in a mech so I guess I wouldn't pilot any.

What is up with Mike's ping compared to everyone else's? Wouldn't he logically be closest to the servers? Or are they set up elsewhere?

it could easily just be a small lag spike, and past a certain point it has nothing to do with distance and everything to do with how quickly routers and different network equipment relay the signal. in between the bits of equipment it all travels at the speed of light (literally).

Do you yell at your hard drives when they go too fast?
How often do you apply violence to solving IT problems? How do you cover your tracks afterward?
What was the most expensive piece of hardware you destroyed while working on MWO?
Have you ever considered murdering some piece of hardware at the office? Which one was it?

We're in Vancouver and the servers are in Toronto.

No. Never. I don't have to. None. No. None.

Not as frequent as you'd think. A lot of the staff are very knowledgable about the software they use and usually only come to me when they're stumped. I have more troubles dealing with the infrastructure ("enterprise") software.

Hollywood makes a big budget movie based on the life and times of Mike Forst. Which actor is going to play you the most faithfully, and why do you think he will?

Good questions. "we'll discuss this internally and answer in the future"

I'd say Liam Neeson.
