Shhh... :P

Otherwise those video game haters will once again do their magic about games that now "force divorces for your children."

I have a leather chair that I would stick to without an intervening layer of soft, breathable cotton.

Wives all seem to hate video games cause it takes attention away from them. I got rid of my wife along time ago when she just couldnt get it thru her thick skull that gaming = happy husband. Oh well, been happier every since, gratz man. More MWO playing time for us!

While not divorced I was just thinking how glad I am to be currently single. During my MW4 heydey I was constantly under verbal assault from the girlfriend for spending too much time not giving her much thought. So good for you sir!

However, you should have played this different. More of the "my wife left me because of MWO so I need a beta key to take the pain down." I for one would never fault a crafty emotional manipulation.

Seriously, hope its for the best. Now shoot something.

Yeah, I never really understood the wife hate for video games.

I mean you as the husband are in the house, not running around bars or going to strip clubs. You are planted in a chair in the computer room with your free time, not doing anything that could actually hurt the marriage.

Now, I agree that there has to be a balance, but I have seen friends marriages become rocky even when they have all the yard work/ house work done, have taken the wife out to date night, etc because women see it as childish.

Kicked the crazy GF of 3 years out.

She can carry her own groceries while I blast FedCom scum apart picturing them as her.

I won my argument with my wife a while ago when I showed her I could make money with my PC gaming hobby... I had opportunity to contribute / get paid for some 3D content for a air-combat simulation and she hasn't really had ammunition to complain since!

my wife is understanding of game time, she understands it is a distraction from;

Wife,
son,
housework,
work,
social life,
being complained at for ignoring one of the above,

I get around this by being awesome, I do not sleep for more than 6 hours. therefore I find time for all, I may die soon. LOL.

Congrats on the divorce hope it works out for you!

BTW look out for girls who play games, I know some who even play RPG's they are super rare but could suit you.

Suits you sir, ohh, sir.

(the above is a sarcastic statement I love my wife/ child/ house/ work and have no prejudice against females in anyway< though they could stand to lighten up some times LOL).

WoW killed my marrage and it was the best thing to ever happen to me. Now I have a girlfriend that plays games with me instead of nagging at me. It was pretty awesome.

I have a understanding GF. She likes games just as much as I do. So really the arguments stim from who gets the computer while the other watches TV.

My biggest thing is make sure that everything is done first, the bills paid, etc etc... and if you got time to game after satisfying your... obligations... to her. Might as well game right? lol
