Yet here you are, posting what you just posted, which instantly shoots down your stupid little assumption.
I played during the weird period where flamers were powerful, during the SRM days, during the LRM spam days, and nothing, absolutely nothing, was as boring or frustrating as the bloat-boat metagame of recent weeks to me.
Something will be the most powerful, and that's fine, so long as a reasonable number of the game's weapons can return fire or have some secondary counter. Extreme-range PPC spam and poptarting didn't exactly offer much as a counter except "do the same" or the mythical "use tactics™".
I can speak on behalf of a half dozen real life friends that have tried, played, stayed, but eventually quit this game precisely during the PPC bloat boat era that is hopefully drawing to a close. Nothing else before, and probably little after, can compare.
Except to you, special snowflake. Keep deluding yourself, that your way of playing is skillful™ and all the terrible people who are not you never, ever, have a point to make.
On a final note, good for you for pretending to find find "irony" in things. The hipster god will reward you with an ironic paradise if you locate enough irony in your everyday ironic life.
The fact that you got so upset and irate as to write the above as your response only confirms my " stupid assumption"
thank you for validating it...
Further I never said anything about my play style, or my skill so why you brought any of that up is beyond me...someone must be a tad insecure.
I simply stated the same people who cried over one FOTM/OP build will be the same ones crying over the next FOTM/OP build such is the case in every multiplayer online game..and the people who play FOTM builds etc generally just hop from one to another and don't really cry about anything...
this is a simple fact of online gaming..so me saying so isn't really an assumption nor would me saying so change this fact or make it a "stupid assumption" to begin with..y
