Where do I find that?
It has been stated by the Devs that certain "Known" names of companies and units can not be taken - probably as serveral groups of poeple would like to be in them or lead them. So you have to create units/companies that have an alternative name to the names in the BT universe.

just a suggestion for your unit...If you're looking for an inexpensive (or even free) website for your guild, check out http://www.enjin.com ... I am currently hosting two guilds thru that ISP. It has all sorts of neat features that are well-suited for MWO...There's even a free plan option
Good hunting! .../Salute

The Tikonov Republican Guards were named for the region, not the planet. They never saw service on Tikonov. (Although some of them may have been created on Tikonov, they were garrisoned elsewhere.)
They were created to garrison the Tikonov Free Republic. Oddly enough, this short lived nation DID NOT include it's capital planet of Tikonov, as the planet's Mech factories made it too valuable to the invading Davions. If the Guards were loyal to anyone, it was Pavel Ridzik, but he died shortly after the 4SW. After Ridzik's death, the TFR was annexed by the Davions, and the Republicans were placed under the command of the Lyrans as part of the program to integrate the armed forces of the two nations.
The Republican Guards were actually a hotbed for dissidents (some regiments more than others). They contained both Steiner and Davion loyalists, as well as Liao agents and secessionists.
As of 3049, their loyalties have yet to be tested in serious battle, but they are technically a LCAF unit.
If you peek into your crystal ball, you'll see that none of Republican units survive past the FedCom Civil War, except for one that defects and takes over the planet it was garrisoned on (Part of what became known as the Chaos March).

Hey, more power too you. I wasn't trying to shoot you down or anything. Just tossin out some Lore.
I fully support this product/service.
It's always nice to see people looking to bring some of the more obscure units to light (with their own takes on things).
I'm sure you will see combat on Tikonov.
Once.
When I retake it
