My ping also seems to have increased, from 270-300 to around 360-380. I haven't noticed much in the way of lag increase, but maybe I'm just not paying enough attention. The constant CTD's however are the biggest issue. I tried using a VPN as was suggested in another thread and this does seem to solve the problem, as it hasn't crashed to the mech lab yet, but unfortunately using a VPN results in about an extra 220ms to my ping, so its up around 600, which to me is unplayable for an fps, even with hsr.

Please fix this problem ASAP PGI, if this constant CTD keeps happening I might just be turned off until this build finally becomes stable.

I am intermittently being crashed to mechlab during matches. Not every game, but twice in six matches now. Never had this issue prior to the May 21st patch.

First 3 drops went straight to Freeze in black screen...4th mech to drop in a match{other 3 still in game}...rubberbanding like hell..ping is around 75{as usual} ...Fps dropped another 5 frames from the last FRAMERATE dropping patch...other then that..The game is completely unplayable now..Thanks PGI..you're doing a Great Job..

New edit:: Well i tried to play some more...Still pinging around 75-250 can't tell when playing...first game froze..2nd game WE won..with not much help from me..i was teleporting from the valley to the top of the first hill in alpine..2nd game I had 14 FPS in Frozen city...was kinda playable{{i had 35 FPS in this game when i bought my founders pack}.I don't plan on turning my frigging Firewalls off to play ANY game on the Web..Why not work on DirextX11 instead of adding ANY more things to this game...been playing this game since Beta..and it's getting worse..

Ping gone up from 120 to 170 after patch. Now experiencing frequent rubberbanding where before the game ran perfectly. Ballistic weapons that were finally viable after the HSR implementation are now back to unusable.

On Patchday there were no issues but in the days after i encounter significant Chat-Lag. A few matches i encounter badly warping Light Mechs. At times the game feels unresponsive.

After last patch I have high ping-230-330 ms.
Before a path is was 150 static.
Its not a issue in my Isp because I check in other places
And have a good connection without any lags and low ping also.
I connecting from Israel. Have cable infrastructure 100mb/sec MPLS connection type.
Also checked with gamer ip connection with l2tp type-same problem with high ping .
I can’t play that way because have lags.

Ping still the same (~255) which is normal on a connection between Australia and US. Noticed that lagspikes are less noticable when downloading at the same time (which is great!)

I usually get ~25 FPS give or take 10 depending on the map. The new canyon map gives 45 FPS, the highest I've ever had. All other maps seem to have degraded by about 5-10 FPS this patch, which is disappointing. Caustic Valley feels unplayable now at ~9fps (previously 15). Please add an option to turn off the black smoke -- I think that's what causes that map to lag so much.

Guessing PGI must have slipped something extra into the tournament patch as suddenly I can play ok

Well - sort of ok - had 2 Session Losts from approx a dozen games (as opposed to every game between 21st and today) and seem to get a bad lag spike at the very beginning of most games but otherwise it's playable again.

I just patched the game as I was away for the 21st may patch being on Holiday. The game work fine beofre the patch my ping being in the 120 to 180 range playing from Spain.

However I can not play the game at all now it just drops to the clients and shows my mech as in game.

I have put real money in to this game as was going to buy MC to get a Blackjack. But I not if I can not play. A very disappointed customer here.

I just patched the game as I was away for the 21st may patch being on Holiday. The game work fine beofre the patch my ping being in the 120 to 180 range playing from Spain.

However I can not play the game at all now it just drops to the clients and shows my mech as in game.

I have put real money in to this game as was going to buy MC to get a Blackjack. But I not if I can not play. A very disappointed customer here.

Previously I had posted that disabling my firewall had corrected the issue. Now this is not the case. I can barely play a game, and my ping spikes almost inevitably drop me back to the client. I've run tracerts, and it seems all the terrible latency and connection time-outs are occurring in Toronto's IPs. I have no idea how to go about contacting that region, but two separate tracerts confirmed that the 1000+ms ping is coming from across the border.

This patch my ping went from ~120 to ~150 average, will all its wonderful side effects, playin from EU.

Most of my clannies playing for EU and NA confirmed the same.

Realistically they should have rolled back this patch due to the game breaking crashing and worked their *** off to identify the cause of the break. But then, no one likes an Indian giver, and no, I'm not being racist, its a saying.

Increased ping from constant 125-140 up to variable often during match 160-280,which causes HSR mechanism not to work and sewere rubberbanding issues while playing a light mech.

but i think now that PGI have no time for this problem.
its a beta and when 10% from the player cant more play ... PGI dont want help the 10% becouse they have the other 90% players.

and the 90% players have CTD and other problems.
i ask the support and my hope the "hotfix" from 24.05.2013 want help with the hig ping problem.

but ... whas any hotfix for the lrm´s .. i dont know waht the problem with the LRM´s becouse i cant play and have no expirience ...

Regular d/cs and late drops ever since the new patch, much more than before. I'm unable to get into a game once ever 4/5 games especially when launching in a group with friends. The new Canyon map seems to be the most regular d/c map that I've come across.

Significant chat lag now. Increased ping time by about 100-200 from previous patch. Also getting significant rubber banding on lower torso moves. Example is when you move legs to walk a certain new direction there is a snap back towards the original direction that you were heading. It's not a total snap back but like the server only recognized part of the move. Upper torso swings haven't suffered that effect on me. Really makes it hard to aim when you press the trigger and the lower torso snaps to a random position.

Frustrating...previous patch was much better gameplay for me.

Since the patch I have been unable to stay in the game longer than a few seconds. Usually drops immediately. My ping is actually really low 120-140(sometimes even lower). I have tried this from other computers and I get the same result, so I doubt it is with my systems. Something has clearly changed in the last update that significantly ruins the game!
