Brought a tear to my eye. I'm sure many of us have lost loved ones to this evil illness in its various forms, myself included. RIP brave little warrior.

However I don't think there should be any special sale in benefit of Sarah and cancer research. For those who can donate and wish to do so, they can just do it directly.

Since there seem to be a bunch of completely oblivious people floating around the forums that don't feel like reading everything that's been said and just want to jump on people that are even slightly hesitant at the idea of an in game item I'd like to point you to my post on page 14... You want to know why it might be a bad idea, go check it out

I'd read some of it before replying but not all admittedly.

I stand by my point of that if people are in the position to donate to their preferred cancer charity then they will, regardless of a game. I also think a game with whatever benefits it may provide is a crass way of obtaining donations. I make a regular monthly donation to MacMillan which is a UK group who simply provide extra care to those who are suffering.

I also bork at the thought of destroying any mech that may be a variant or some kind of result of donations for Sarah, I really would feel abhorently guilty. Plus you'll of course get the sad, pathetic trolls who will gain satisfaction from such an event.

While I understand that PGI is a company who must survive on purchases, what I do propose is that they announce that 10% of all "profits" made from purchases within a set time go to the charity that Sarah's family designates. That way there is no extra incentive other than to provide a little extra to a worthy cause.

Sad that the suffering of someone so young and full of life cause such polarised opinions but I'm sure that some "good" will come of this young warrior's passing.

May you rest in peace little one. We shall fight with honour for you while you watch over us.

Fare thee well, noble warrior.
Fare thee well, honored sister of battle.
Fare thee well, 'till 'ere we meet again.
We toast to you, in mourning for what could have been.
We feast and laugh, in remembrance for what was.
And last, but certainly not least, we honor thy noble battle.
Fare thee well, noble warrior.

I think it would give people an unfair advantage running the Sarah mech, as people would be less likely to shoot it out of some strange guilt which people seem to have around here for this poor girl dying. Yes, she died, yes, it's sad for her family. But I didn't know her or her family. There are many more way better ways to remember this girl than creating a mech for her in game. If I see this mech in game, I will personally make it my mission to destroy it ASAP, not because I find joy in other people's sadness, not because I am against funding research for cancer, but because such a mech has no place in this game.

Going to have to agree with MentalPatient. I would destroy this mech ASAP. Streaks have been and still are a broken weapon that cores way too easily, orbits mechs, and has other unrealistic properties. Say this mech has 4 missile hard points to mount 4 Streaks, I would hate every single person who would run with it because to me they're abusing a broken mechanic that PGI has refused to fix. Iwould rather see a special pattern, color, or cockpit item for her, as opposed to another overpriced Hero mech. Especially if it is designed for multiple Streak launchers.

As sad as it is for anyone to lose one of their children, the majority of us did not even know Sarah, or her family. Multitudes of people die every day, many of them children and most of the time this does not even cross our minds. I guess the fact that Sarah, played the same game as the rest of us, her passing was more significant to those of us who were not directly a part of her life.

Like many of you, I was caught up in the emotion of the announcement and I myself have demanded that an in-game item be made in her honor, but now I tend to agree that this should be the sole decision of Sarah's family as they are the only ones who knew what she would have wanted. Being a parent myself and someone who has lost a close family member to cancer, I wish Sarah's family the best.

Deepest condolanceses from all members of Warrior House Imarra- nothing can compare with the loss of a child, know that our that our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Please bring on the hero mech- I can't think of a more fitting honoring of her memory than an entire drop filled with her favorite mech blasting each other to bits!

i would rather pgi not make a hero/champion jenna named after her. not everyone will know the reasoning behind it nor will everyone seek out answer, that being said i also wouldnt want to see anything related used in jokes eg. have you seen my wang?
this community has a few jokers and a few to come. i really wouldnt want to see anyone intentionally or accidentally use the topic of this mech in an inappropriate way.
if pgi really wants to do some sort of donation towards cancer they can always donate the yellow paint proceeds, thats just an idea that can be worked on. please no special mech in memory of tragic events, especially on the internet.

Better go for "awareness ribbons" - you can attach them to your mech as a logo, or as an interior feature.

This way you can not only get money into cancer related stuff, but also other diseases, like rare diseases, A I D S. war-returners, human trafficing/sex slavery and diabetes related stuff.

Wow "A I D S" is being censored....

I say this for the family of Sarah. I believe in a just God, I am Mormon/LDS. This is my testimony. Your daughter waits for you on the other side. She is saved by the Grace of Jesus Christ. All children under the age of 8 are innocent and cannot commit sin for they do not know enough to do so with intent.

You will see your daughter again, so be good in in this life so you can spend the eternities with her.

Go with God, your daughter already knows him.

I would run a Sarah Mech .... many military vehicles are named after heroes for various reasons. That in itself does not matter when the are faced on the field. It becomes another enemy unit and is trying to destroy me, and my mech.

A Jenner - variant SRA or SHR with alternate missile locations sounds like it would be a SRH version.

1st post. Condolences to the family, these feelings have struck me swiftly, reading all the comments from other members here.
Tragic, and yet still beautiful.

I will also throw my name down for interests in a Sarah Hero mech. Would buy..

Much peace to those involved.

I don't know if Sarah's folks will be reading these things or not, but I can't imagine what the loss of one of my own sons would feel like, so I can't imagine what you're going through. I am heart-broken nonetheless. My prayers go out for you.

Can we get a toggle to opt out of games with Sarah mechs, similar to 3rd person?

Why? You might have even played with or against her and her Dad before. Imagine, that Jenner 3 months ago, the one you hunted over half the map, legged and then shot was her. Or any other Jenner. maybe the Jenner who killed your Commando 3x in a row with streaks was her

Our hobby is our common interest.. you didnt shoot her. you shoot at her playpiece, you played a GAME with her. You had fun, she had. That all. Our hobby is all that binds us together. So... all we can do is buy something for the game, if we are not inclined to just donate on our own.

Frankly, im fine with it being a Mech, a Mech will bring higher sales that some Vanity Statue or Banner, even from those who dont care about Sarah.....and thus, more donations, for the funds.
