100% for it, wife will murder me if I don't buy a mech or item dedicated to her.
Joking.
Not really.
She showed me the knife.

...however, I would buy this mech in the memory of little Sarah. ( I have a 2 year old daughter myself).
Please make this happen.

It's likely because they JUST released the Champion Jenner. If they make a Jenner for her, great. If they use a different chassis for her, though, I'm not going to give them crap for it. The thought is still there, and the money is still going to charity.

True but I'd consider the next hero mech to be a Jenner, since this month is a Jager. I find it great that they are doing this for charity as well, I've already bought an Ilya Muromets and a Heavy Metal and hadn't really planed to buy another hero mech untill the Atlas gets a hero variant which will probably be after launch but I will buy this mech for a worthy cause.

I think you're entitled to your opinion, so not going to fault you for that, and I can see one aspect which is do we really want to have Sarah's name tied to a mech. I for one would hate to see a mech named "Sarah" blown up in game. What about if a specific variant that is issued is simply tied to Cancer charity donations etc. Let the mech itself be something from Lore but let the funds go to a good cause.
To me that's not keeps a healthy separation from your fandom with your charitable efforts. My 2 cents.
That is actually a reasonable idea.

Having a little ankle biter myself, it is very hard not getting emotional.
I'd be in if hero mech was created.

I also support this version of the idea.
I hate to sound unsympathetic, being that I have a child not much older than 5, but if we named a mech for every person, or more specifically a fellow player, we lost well before their time than MWO would be nothing but a game with mechs named Michael and Paul and Veronica and Amy etc.
I think a mech with a name from Lore, and 100% of the proceeds going to a specific cancer charity, would be more in tune with the spirit behind the venture.

Agreed. She will be remembered, but I cannot think of blowing up a robot with her name on it. That would cause the pain and grief
to be relived for a long time.

I can only express my condolences to the family of the departed. I am not very good at saying good bye, but i have lost fellow gamers and friends during my 23 years of living so I know how sad it is loosing loved ones.
farewell
I saw in the June 2013 update there looks like a "Sarahs' mech" will be available. I will definitely purchase that as a fellow Jenner master pilot I shall Streak in your name!
Departed comrade! Thou, redeemed from pain
Shall sleep the sleep that kings desire in vain:
Not thine the sense of loss
But lo, for us the void
That never shall be filled again.
Not thine but ours the grief.
All pain is fled from thee.
And we are weeping in thy stead;
Tears for the mourners who are left behind
Peace everlasting for the quiet dead.

EDIT: Y'know, I'm a fairly big guy, and it takes a lot to get to me. Just thinking about ever losing one of my sons is harsh enough to break me. It's funny what our little ones, all little ones, do to us, isn't it?
