Bumping is a form of spam and therefore against the CoC.

You lot know I'll never try to strong arm anyone into anything, but I would ask each of us to bump the petition at least. If the devs listen half as much as I'd like to think, they've got a fella pulling overtime to make this work. Thank you all.

i much prefere the idea of a cockpit item/paint job, something thats vanity only. even a generac one in case of the above mentioned, so like a plaque with sarahs name on it, then if there is a cruel twist of fate in which something like this happens again, there would be another name added to the plaque, or a new plaque available.
also if it were a plaque or vanity item pgi would be able to give a lot more to charity. they could put a high price on it with a low production cost to maximise profit for charity, instead of spending lots on a mech varient complete with unique skin etc. and dont forget balance here it would have to be balanced with other jenners.
im not trying to be the **** in the punchbowl here but i think that pressuring pgi for a whole new mech is not constructive. its not like a bug that needs fixing or a balance issue thats breaking the game, its for comletely new content. if forum pressure forces pgi to make this mech, then people are going to use this tactic for anything they want, like a single player campaign, or the king crab or w/e
I understand your trepidation, but I can't go under the assumption that something good will immediately be turned into something to manipulate. Maybe I'm too idealistic, but I have to trust the community on this one.
I'm not against other forms of memorial. Something being done is the primary concern. A lot of people think that the Hero Mech is the best way to go, but it's not the only way, and I've been in favor of all the other suggestions, as well.

While your at it PGI make sure you make a nice spring/summer map with fields of wild flowers in it.
Oh PIN this thread already.
PS.
I still have founder MC left. If this mech was put in the game I would buy at least a $30.00 batch of MC for the sole purpose of getting this hero mech. Regardless of whether or not I have founder MC or not.

(2) i think it should be colored designed by her family
(3) please make it the JR7-K variant, as most people don't have this one. it will sell more
Well, we already have a Champion Jenner, though I would have no issues with a Hero one, I quite like the little Mech's. A Hero variant with an XL 345 Engine, ECM and a pair of ER PPC's.

Says no one ever after a moderator posts that bumping is against the COC
As half expected, this question came up in the latest ATD, so i would expect to see a respone from PGI by the end of the week. Obviously they will take into consideration how passionate everyone is regarding this matter and they would too need to consisder the logisitics of applying this (i.e. setting up way to monitor transactions etc to charity etc etc..)

However, I absolutely would post again in a thread to comment on it further. So:
The more I think about this, the more I really, really hope PGI releases a charitable hero Jenner, both as a memorial and as a way to move more donationations to charity. I don't mind in the slightest if PGI implements this as "Whenever you buy this Hero mech, we'll donate $[amount] to [relevant charity]." I recognize that treating the full purchase as a charitable donation can have complex tax implications, but if PGI is the one doing the donating, that really simplifies the system. It does mean that PGI would gain the benefit of those deductions, and not the users, but quite frankly I'm fine with that - then I'm helping PGI make our beloved game at the same time I'm helping a charity.
Edit: This is because otherwise, they may need to provide receipts to people buying, which would become ever more complicated with international buyers and such.

Yup, bumping is bad.
So that I'm not just bumping, I do have to say the outpouring of response in this and the other thread have almost made me forget all the hate and rage I usually see on these forums. Way to go, Mech Warriors.

OH HECK YES.
Reading through this thread so far, I think you could put almost any price on it, and it'll be bought.
I know I'll be buying one.
