you can't blame people for abusing the bugs and poor implementation but most those people have to use them to even be decent at the game. Then the other just abuse it to make a point. I can make many different builds work.

I don't think the OP was talking trash about the simple act of being dedicated to LRMs as much as players going out of their way to use them more than normal just to exploit a bug or imbalance.
And the process occurs with any FOTM weapon/build.

And that's how problems get identified and fixed.

This ******** of "if only we would hold hands and sing Kumbayah and not "exploit" the powerful weapons" is utter ********* and people who believe this {Scrap} need to be banned from posting on the balance forums because it is completely counter-productive. The guys who get **** done and find the problems are precisely the ones that "exploit" everything.

Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Yes, a problem becomes noticeable...
But is damages the game when players mass-abuse such things, making players quit.

this is where MM needs to be altered to forget about achieving a w/l balance and throw teams together purely by elo. Such builds then end up in elo hell vs only each other

Damn those sprinters who use the latest in light weight fabrics and the best shoe technology. Also, while we are at it, why does every F1 team use a super powerful engine? Man up and go with a Nissan 4 banger. To all those athletes and competitors out there who gravitate to the thing tat gives them the best odds of winning, I say QUIT EXPLOITING THE SYSTEM!

no I won't.
you can choose to play the game as it is intended to be played or you can exploit. I have a 4:1 win loss ratio and I do not

Its funny how EVERY user in these forums has a 4:1 win-loss or kill-death ratio. I would love to see who are the ones dying all the freaking time for these "pros" to get those ratios.

BTW, you are talking about cheating the system and you show WIN-LOSS ratio?? When that is a team effort?????
Who knows what you lance is using? They could be a bunch of 6xPPC stalkers for all we know.

I am sure as hell thought that if you have 4:1 you are not PUGGING. So I do not care about your numbers.

So are we on the honor system now? Why blame the players when the devs are the ones responsible for the playing field? I never ran a 6 PPC Stalker by the way but I had no problem with people that did.

It's like blaming a 16 year old for shooting holes in the walls of his house because his parents left their gun easily accessible.

Sure, maybe the kid knows better but who left the gun out in the first place???

Wow, seriously? If it's a bug then it's an exploit. If it's poorly balanced then that's the fault of the devs, but unless it's an admitted bug it's not an exploit, it's playing the way the game is designed. The way you envision the game and the way it's actually implemented may vary significantly but it doesn't make it an exploit. If you want to blame someone blame the devs. Either what's happening is their vision of the game or else it needs to be done to death until they realize that there balance is way off. If there isn't a mountain of data indicating that it's unbalanced there's no way they're going to fix it, not that they'd know how to fix things anyway.
