That's not a bad idea, but you'd be able to see the arrows indicating friendlies which of course wouldn't appear for hostiles which kind of defeats the purpose. It would at least make hostiles harder to spot when they're near friendlies.

However combined with this the aforementioned it seems like it might work. It would make the minimap very hard to read in a brawl, so the seismic blips should be more transparent as well.

Also there is a ( sort of ) counter to the module in the form of jump jets. You will not be detected while you're up in the air. If you know or suspect the enemy is at a specific position you could jump from outside seismic range into range and unless the enemy was closer than you expected you could close up to about half the distance in a blackjack, catapult, cataphract or highlander or close the whole distance and drop right on top of the position in a raven, jenner or spider and possibly a trebuchet.

I haven't played this patch or used the seismic censor, but if you use JJS, you are likely exposing yourself in the air. Also, that being said you could tap JJs and move...maybe that would help.

Also flank with 400 m or greater ranged weapons ?

Ever since CB folks have belly ached about no FULL 360 degree radar, active and or passive mode. This is a cheap version of that, so once again, we can only blame the Community for this addition. Just be thankful the Dev didn't go the MW3/4 route and allow this cheap version of Active radar out to 1000m. sheesh

If you were not among that crowd, sorry, but the masses wanted this type of stuff. It will get Nerfed before long I suspect. Then it will suck and folks will gripe about that. It is the way of things I guess.

PGI will likely add a dampening module where you go invisible to seismic.

And they will sell it to you for MC, along with a matching Tinfoil hat. :D

Look on the bright side. Maybe this will end the constant whining about base capping. If two teams pass each other in the night, they have only themselves to blame. Can't complain about not being able to get back in time to prevent a cap if you saw them coming 2 minutes before they even got there.

Nope, just thought a Tin Foil hat would be the perfect accent piece. You don't do fashion much do you? B)

Not to worry Bilbo. The first time a Pug "Team", with Seismic, runs themselves into an ambush of Mechs, that all took up good, and stationary positions, the whines will begin anew.
