Battlemech 20: Victor

I have suspicions that it works this way: guys from PGI screwed up with gameplay balance, and now screwed up game balance affects their choice of mechs to include in the game. Just imagine how 9A variant would "improve" current pinpoint-high-damage-alpha meta! So no-no to it. Hope I'm wrong.

Now I understand something needed to be done about game balance. Obviously giving the Victor dual AC20's and none of the inherent weaknesses of the Jagermech and Catapult would have been terrible for balance. But on the flip side you could have easily moved the hard points around in such a way as to not allow that kind of abuse.
I am just disappointed for this mech. I don't even know if I'm going to spend the C-bills on it. I might as well just wait for the Orion.

They do make exact copies of artwork, but then they have to downscale it, since even best Nvidia graphics cards on the world in SLI mode with some crazy processor nothing short of a server wouldn't be able to render 24 of them plus all the effects and the map in real time.
Besides, it's not like it's totally badly made, or lacking detail... just the texture's putting it down:

Also, given the height of the pilot in the above picture, does the vertical height of each of those bars represent 1 meter (which would make the Victor just shy of 17 meters tall)?

from a viewpoint of the creativity, the new victor is very poor.

Judging by this, would that make the Dragon Slayer P2W in the Victor line?
Seeing as it is the only Victor able to mount 3 PPC's and 1 Gauss, where the other Victors can only mount 2 PPC's and 1 Gauss tops.

its not the scale. the proportions are off from the concept. the shoulders are too high and too wide. Here is my quick and dirty fix:

It's a handful of little things that add up to make it look off.

Welcome to being obsolete.
The Stalker replaced your role already and now the Victor will jump-kick you away.
Time to demand for Awesome buffs.
Awesome still has a huge hardpoint advantage, not to mention speed and armour.

The Pretty Baby hero can take a 400 engine, 9M only goes up to 385.
The armor's the same, and I wouldn't say there's a hardpoint advantage, that area is debatable I guess.
