Yes this issue seems to be bad again. I am really tired of it. It is really affecting my aim and really sucks when your trying to aim a alpha damage weapon and it uses ammo.

I really hope and wish PGI is able to do somthing about this once and for all.

There was a post in another thread about this being a possible issue with the DoS Filter threshold in your router. It is claimed that the packet rate being pushed to the router by PGI is exceeding the DoS limit so your router thinks its a denial of service attack. Raising your threshold above 400 or turning of the DoS filter should help. I checked my router and my DoS has been off so I was not able to verify.

I am experiencing this issue. My ping is less than 120 but I am experiencing unplayable levels of rubberbanding/teleporting. This was not happening a few days ago. I started noticing it a little bit in the past few days, but today it is completely unplayable.

@GeneralFitzhugh: can you link to that thread? I cant find it.

For me nearly as soon as it starts, I loose connection. I have tried to play 10 or so times and have been dropped every game as well as the terrible rubberbanding. My ping is in the 96-110 range and yesterday everything was actually good and I could play.

I never see or have any rubberbanding. I do have a slight delay that is new, started around 2 or so patches ago. Ping seems to be 10-20 higher than it was before that too. Game is still playable, but there is definitely a slight delay for me unlike before.

I never had this problem until this evening. Now it happens every match to the point of being unplayable. Others I have chatted with in game say they are experiencing the same thing. Sounds like trouble on their end rather than mine.

I never had this problem until this evening. I have rebooted my router, turned off all my firewalls, rebooted my computer, run all windows updates, and the problem persists. 50% CPU usage in game. 51 to 52 FPS. Neverwinter Nights Online works without any issues. Teamspeak does not lag at all.

Didn't start until this evening, and it's bad enough that the game is unplayable (includes flat-out DCs) Nothing else on my end is having connectivity issues, so it seems client-side.

Here's hoping they extend the challenge by a day, because I get the feeling some people are going to be robbed.

Every game I tried today.
I am thinking it may be the last hotfix patch.

I am thinking it is totally in the last hotfix. Every game today has been pretty much unplayable. When I ask in chat if anybody else is experiencing the same thing, I always get two to three saying yes. It seems the worst when the first firefight breaks out. After that, I am pretty much in a permenant warp bubble jumping all over and being completely unable to control anything. Max negativity on this issue!

After the patch on May 21st, my game was unplayable - whereas, prior to that, I had no rubber-banding issues.

After a player tip on the forums, I disabled UDP DoS filter on my DrayTek 2700 router, and I have not seen the problem again. My ping is, perhaps, 20-30ms higher than it was prior to that patch, but there are no rubber-banding issues. I hope this helps others track down the issue at their end - perhaps PC security, perhaps router, perhaps in their ISP's network somewhere - even further into the Internet, towards PGI's end.

There are numerous people posting in the Patch Feedback / Performance Issues thread much along the same lines.

WTF PGI!... What did you break between Wednesday night and Thursday afternoon? Everything was great when I went to bed wednesday night at 11 est but when I got off work and logged in Thursday at about 8 the game was unplayable.

Tested MWO on my desktop and laptop (nvidia GTX480s with Intel hex core CPUs in both machines) - same issue on both machines.
Tested MWO on a friends machine (AMD/ATI setup) - same issue
Tested connection with Neverwinter and Battlefield 3 - No problems
Tested MWO with spare router (different model than primary router) - same issue
Tested MWO using only the cable modem - same issue
Pings in the 50 - 90ms range

PS... I would like to complete the 25 win challenge but its not looking good with this bug.

Game is almost unplayable, i mean almost as in i can stand still with an AC20 and still get 200 damage ish. But the movement is very unpredictable so its hard to set up a brawl. It seems that something on the server end got FUBAR'd, And also noticed that i am unable to display the founders tag, petty but i liked seeing my cash i donated to the project represented with a cute yellow tag. All that being said, i am a long time EVE online player and the downtime's when they first started out where um "anywhere from 6hours-35hrs" so no complaints here. Maby take a bit longer downtime and fix the stuff that you need from the ground up, people will still play, you will still get subscriptions. I did like the short patches but it seems to have "accumulated" lots of plaster and not much framework fixing. All the best and still an awesome game!! , Mryyden

Not sure what happened, but this problem only started this morning around 3-4 hours ago. Before that time frame, everything was working great and had no problems.

I had one extreme case yesterday on Canyon. Normally I don't experience this issue, but that was outrageous. Everyone had the issue. Mechs would teleport or be locked into shooting animations. You could not fight in the last few minutes of the match.

Nvm, seems my Filters area is setup different or I just don't get it. Started a topic here to see if anyone can help figure it out.

Never had this issue until the May 21st patch, or the hotfix after it, not 100% sure. For me it's worst on Forest, folowed by Caustic, then Canyon. The other maps are fine.

having the same issue. ping is gone form 90/100 to 170/190 with heay rubber banding. its make it very frustrating trying to play the game, as you can aim consistantly at any target and expect to hit them.
