I appreciate the events that you're putting on but I really get annoyed when people game the system. It happened when people would sync drop to strip down and mangle mechs with the other tournament and now I see people dropping in groups of 4 in all light ECM mechs trying for the easy cap win on large maps like alpine or tourmaline.

I can see the matches being significantly less fun over the next three days.

Consider defending your base and running streakcats or laserboats. Lights are hardly unstoppable.

In those games, we never engaged with the lights since 4 of them capping (perhaps even with the module bonus) end the game way too fast. And I'm not going to sit around and camp my base. Actually... maybe I will. Both teams sitting on their base could be the new meta.

EDIT: To qualify my statement, I love piloting lights as well and I don't mind the odd loss by cap since I know it is a valid strategy. It is just frustrating that its happening too frequently to be fun. Not worth the 3050 holo. Perhaps this should have been a solo event as well to prevent abuse.

Hmm mine doesnt say challenge complete. It says 27 out of 25 and the circle doohickie is at 100% with 27 wins listed below.

Yeah, after I competed it it did the same thing. I find this funny. I have somehow uncompleted the challenge because I went 1 over 25 :pgi:.
