It destroys everything , 2 of 3 games played i get 4-6kils and 800dmg reg. Also it is cool as hell with shitton of double heatsinks i never stop firing. And a light or med that dares aproach gets insta checked with 3x SSRM and runs faster then it came.

Thats not to say you can walk your building into the center of battle and expect to live for more than 30 seconds.

Only downside that I've found is that the LBX-10's are a juicy target and seem to get blown off every 3rd game or so, and it runs a little hot so you don't want to be doing alpha's all the time, but I've have great success on this build.

You must be running an XL engine, I just plugged that weapons and armor load into smurfy (because it didn't sound right) and I got the weapons and armor on, but only 10 DHS and no ammo (and with endo steel).

Grinding highlanders, and c-bills, so when an Atlas comes out its my founders one, at the moment, once I've done the grinding, it'll get to come out the garage, but enjoying my speedy,jumpy highlanders to much at present

so far it has worked really well for me. runs VERY hot but with some good heat management this is not an issue. i could drop the LPL for LL and get a bigger engine or my DHS but i love them to much, and when the Ultra 5s get going they are amazing!

We once scored 999 damage (no joke!) and with him I climbed the 1.0 k/d hurdle.
After all the SRM changes and the recent change with ECM, I feel that our relationship somewhat cooled down. I take him out less often (I take MWO out less often in general though) and I think that the vibe has somehow disappeared a bit. Especially with the predominance of ranged warfare, I came to the conclusion, that something has to change.
I gave us a new chance by switching the SRM to SSRM and the MedLas to LargeLas. We had a fun time...but it frankly was not the same anymore.
Since then I am wondering how to set the world on fire again.
It's time to re-role your Atlas. You don't need to totally disengage from the front line, but only go there when you really have to. Try using the Atlas as a Long range Sniper; 2x ERPPC if possible or 1x ERPPc and 1x ERLarge Laser. Back it up with a LRM15 bank. For close range I use the LBX10 Scattershot in tandem with an AC2. The LBX rocks, especially against horrible things like the Raven.

As for me, my scoring is highly inconsistent. For every drop I deal 400+ damage and get 2+ kills I get at least one where I'm lucky if I score 250 damage with no kills.

You're using an XL enginge though. Couple of taps in the shoulder from fellow PCs and you explode. I use to run DDCs with XLs all the time. You can roll up some insane firepower. lol
