Wait, so you're saying it's wrong of consumers to hold a standard to the company providing them with a service? That the consumer should be happy with what they get when they get it, instead of holding the company to some higher standard?

Wow, whatever you're smoking, you should pass it around bro.

You have absolutely NO idea how the industry works, do you?

Soo... Not a single task has been performed on time so far, and all because most of my (and yours) moneyz just went to (*****) developers of quite a (*****) adaptation of a good TT game?.. I'm so not surprised anymore. I don't even have any desire to rage anymore as well..

You neither, as it seems.

Look at PGI's track record, have they even delivered one good game? If they can't do that, what makes people think they'll deliver on their own ETAs. No point in even caring about it anymore. PGI is ruining this game. For every one step they take forward, they take two backwards.

I mean as it stands now this game is COD online with giant slow moving robots running FOTM Builds. Or better yet a slow moving hawken with mechs that die in seconds because they are so easily cored because they move so slow.

I don't understand how they think they are improving anything. Turning this game into FOTM warrior online pretty much ruined the game for me. I nolonger have any desire to play it, and as such I won't play it till its not alpha strike warrior online with mechs that die in mere seconds. I'll keep my fingers cross that hopefully before I die some developer will create a great mechwarrior game.

You know what? Reading this topic has inspired patience and understanding in me.

I do not want to degenerate into what I've seen on these eight pages.

PGI are doing good work in a hard job and they're going about it in a good way. I respect any dev that engages with their community, even in the face of all this.

I want CW now, but I want it to be good. I want to see more maps first anyway. Maybe even a random map generator.

I'm fine with cosmetic microtransactions. The company must support itself. If that means I end up with lots of options for pimping out my mechs, that's a cross I'll bear.

If the current meta build favours the sniper, I'll keep my head down, creep in close and murder them with unpopular weapons so that I can feel more smug about it. The game doesn't actually lack for diverse gameplay and weapon setups in action, either. Most people aren't running a cheese build. Those that are? You just shake your head at their poor sportsmanship and wonder where their gamer's pride is.

Frankly, the term 'industry troll team' stuck out at me. Some of the posts on this forum reek of intentional malice.

Not dancing to that tune.

A good job, what are you talking about? The only thing that gets updated in this game without bugs is MC items.

Anything else was put in broken, overpowered, or outright useless.

Mech chassis are put in with weird hitboxes, each patch you have to pray that not another random bug makes this or that weapon completly overpowered or underpowered.

Each patch you have to worry that there are new game crashing bugs.

Sorry but good work looks different then that..

Not only that but the abysmal speed in wich content is implemented... this game has changed almost nothing since closed beta.. its the same 8 vs 8 arena shooter with little to no metagame. Make no mistake.. this is no league of legends that can get away with bare bones content due to game mechanics..

If they can't even release concept art on schedule, what makes you think any of the features will be on time? Chill out, lower your expectations, and enjoy. Plus, my guess is that 12v12 is going to mess up quite a few things.

There was never a schedule for concept art.

I'd go find the quotes and dates if I wasn't so lazy, but one of the developers said something to the effect of, "We will release the next concept art on date X," and then they were late. It's not a big deal, but they are genuinely pretty bad at hitting a self-imposed deadline.

Actually, I am fine with positions changing. I just wish they would communicate to the community. Tell us what the NEW targets are, why CW is essentially cancelled for now, when and how they plan on balancing, etc etc

I'll start worrying about the game when all the ******** (complainers) leave the forums. When it gets to the point that no one cares enough to complain the game will be in serious trouble.

So let the building burn down... and only when smoldering ruins remain you will start worrying? Brilliant!

I predict that between now and the time the game completely implodes, PGI/IGP will keep at least one of their promises. It would be completely novel and statistically possible!

You know why your pleased? because you joined at the end of April. Things are still new to you and you haven't seen the repetitious failures of PGI.

Any game is really cool and you don't see any of the major flaws when you've only played it for 2 months everything still has that sparkley glow..

Ah the good old "head in the sand" tactic, it always works so well.
