We are a multi-game, global community of gamers, developers, gaming consultants, and Military Veterans. Our members span the ages of 20-72, we have members in over 8 countries; including active MWO players in the US, Canada, Mexico, UK, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Australia and New Zealand. We have been active in games and gaming since 1999. Some of our core members have been gaming since the creation of Pong. Many of our members have developed video games or mods for games. We empower content creators to develop a more robust community around their gaming passions, improving the gaming experience of every game we play.
Our presence in Mechwarrior Online commenced after a 30 man core team from the Steele's 1st Legion of Thunder (a former Alpha/Closed Beta MWO Merc Corp. led by Tanaga Matabushi, then Rip Calkin and later RobinSage) came over to start a HARD team for MWO. We are now looking to start open recruiting, as anticipation for Community Warfare is gaining momentum. Players of all levels and skill are encouraged to check out our team, or stop by our TS3 dropships on the NA Comstar TS3 server.
Whether you are a LONE WOLF, or part of a team that cannot get enough players to fill a drop, or you're not happy currently with your MWO experience, we can help you. We have a dedicated Recruitment/Training team. We have a very detailed and thorough boot camp, with top skilled MWO pilots.
Many of our members have placed in the top 10 leaderboards of each class during PGI tournaments. We are a very diverse and capable team.
The structure of our Merc Corp allows for individual "lances" and "companies" to be formed within our framework. Having their own Senior Drop Commanders, each Company under the HARD banner has their own logo, team, forums and is supported by the membership base of all the other HARD Corp. companies. We believe that it is the individual members that decide what they want in a game, how they would like to contribute, and if they want to be a leader and show their worth, they are given command over their own unit, they can fashion that unit by playtimes, playstyles, friends or any other customization they would like.
We even have room for those that are members of other MWO Merc or House teams. They are our abassadors to other units. (Please okay this with your current guild commander before coming to HARD, allow them the courtesy of contacting one of our Officers or myself directly, as we are NOT in the business of scalping players from successful or growing guilds.)
