Yep. Don't forget, many of the most renowned warriors, politicians, leaders, spies and other badasses in the BT universe are females (e.g. Natasha Kerensky, Aletha Kabrinski, Candace Liao) not to mention the fact that we have an entire faction of gynocrats! (a relatively minor faction but a faction nonetheless)

I have historically played female characters in MMOs for one simple reason: I like looking at female characters rather than males :P

I'd prefer a range of options from Gruff male voice to even the gruff german or nordic female voice. :P
(I'll leave any examples to you guys :D)

If it were an option I'd have to set the Old Spice Guy to be my 'Mech's voice.

"Hello ladies. Your giant-shooty-cannon-gun has been rendered inoperative by incoming fire from those hostile bad-people."

And when I send pre-ordained taunts to my enemies.

"Look at your 'Mech. Now look at mine. Now look back to your 'Mech. Now back to mine. Sadly, it isn't mine. And yours will be mine soon, too."

Now, the majority of the pictures of said females associated with Battletech are a totally different thing :D

Not nearly enough engaged in hand-to-hand combat wearing only a red thing and a belt, are there? :(

I think for starters we should get a basic selection of either male or female voice. Then they could make additional voices purchasable.

I thought for sure this topic was about the computer's female voice in my mech programmed to b-witch at me. Since I m gonna be married to my mech very soon anyways you might as well complete the union for us.

I don't think I've ever read about any woman in the mech universe that wasn't strong intelligent or at least dangerous.

This is what Fox News has warned us about! If we let marriage be defined as anything other than a union between one man and one woman, soon people will be MARRYING THEIR MECHS!!!

Good! Let the man/woman- mech love fest begin!
And please don't let this joke devolve into some kinda political whosaysit, sometimes people make it hard to have a good joke.

Oh man, the people I wish I could have as the voice of my mech.

John benjamin: "Reactor online. Sensors online. Weapons online. All systems nominal"
Ben stein: "Internal ammo explosion"
Joan rivers: "Heat level critical, Shutting down"
Betty white: "Sattelite up-link established"

I find that to be very silly on your part. :P

Why is that silly? I don't play female characters. Period.(no pun intended) I simply cannot relate to a female. I can't imagine how a female counterpart might react in the same situation as a male and so, I don't play them.

No, now I'm wondering as to the legality under said circumstance of owning more than one 'Mech. Is it polymechgamy? Poligamechy? hmmmm....

And back on topic. Women have always rocked in the BT universe. Except for Katherine Steiner. She makes me wanna punch things.

I also hate what people do to girl gamers are how they treat them.
"Girls shouldn't play video games!"
later...
"Hey little kid, GTFO!"
"I'm a girl, FYI."
*Doucheguy has sent you a friend request*

I know a couple girl gamers and think it's nice to have some gender equality in the video game world.
